Coziest cabin cutie
We absolutely loved our stay. This was the perfect spot for 3 friends to have a little peaceful weekend away. We cooked, played games and relaxed. The tv wasn't working well, so our attempts at movies didn't go as planned, but everything else was great. Comfy beds.

Definitely cozy
Rustic and warm, a great place for a getaway either for a couple or family that doesn’t require a lot of space. Would probably make a good summer overnight, too. Only the floor boards separate the top and bottom floors.

Great cabin, very clean, comfortable queen bed. Was unaware of it being close to the highway and can hear traffic. Slow WiFi and strong smoke odor in the main level but overall a great find!
Hidden gem. So cute, so cozy. Perfect amount of rustic charm but modern cleanliness and comforts. We have stayed in numerous places in Govt Camp and this has to be the fav discovery. Super cute kids rooms. High ceilings make it feel spacious. It is in the forest, so it’s cool in summer. Plenty of pretty windows and filtered sunlight. We will be back! And we will book far in advance for this one.

Very amazing cabin. My only complaint is the frig. Is to small. And the stair case stairs are not code. Very steep and stair trends are to small. Not safe for older people.

Hidden Gem
Perfect balance of rustic charm with clean modern comforts. Owners put a lot of care into it. Might look small, but every inch of space is well utilized, and comfortable. It’s in a shaded wooded area, but plenty of windows that let beautiful filtered light thru. Cool in summer, but has great modern heating system. Kids rooms adorable. High ceilings throughout make it feel spacious. Rustic floorboards add so much charm and uniqueness. Our fav discovery after years of rentals in Govt Camp, definitely booking again and in advance to insure our return

Mouse in the house
Cons:
- There was a mouse in the house. Saw it scurrying around and found droppings it left behind. Notified property management and they asked us to send a picture of the mouse.
- If someone takes a shower the floor in front of the toilet will be wet (no basin to keep water in small shower area).
- Entrance has a musty smell.
- No dishwasher. Read the description carefully.
Pros:
- Dining / kitchen area has a rustic and quaint feel.
- Queen bed is comfortable

The property is a cute cottage with all the smenities you need and close to Hood Mountain Meadows. The property is very expensive in my opinion for what it is but likely the least expensive of other nearbt choices.

Right in the center of town.Kitchen has everything you might need, even has a rice cooker.Coffee. It has a small (5 cups) drip coffee machine and a Nespresso machine. So if you want Nespresso, bring them with you. The general store only had Keurig the few times I checked.TV. No cable but has Chromecast. That wasn't initially clear to me so I was messing with the apps on the the TV before I realized. Or bring you own device to plug in to the spare HDMI slot & cable.Wifi. It's fine. I had occasional complaints during Teams calls if the TV was also streaming. It's a rustic cabin - not a condo. E.g. one layer of floorboards to the second floor with gaps between. Not a problem but it means noise carries.I never did work out where trash and recycling went but fortunately we didn't generate much. A small info pack in the cabin or in the note you receive telling you wifi and access code would be nice.
