The Space:

A small family, two traveling couples, or a few close friends will love staying at this charming Florence getaway, which offers easy access to the beach and typical home comforts including free WiFi, cable, and a private washer/dryer. A second-floor balcony provides partial ocean views, as well as a nice place to hang out with your loved ones.



Situated about four miles north of Florence proper in the Heceta Beach community, this home is just across the street from an easy access point to the beach, so you can walk out your front door and be on the sand in minutes. Old Town Florence is a few minutes away by car, as are a casino, two golf courses, and the rest of the town's attractions. Devil's Elbow State Park and the highly photogenic Heceta Head Lighthouse are just a few miles north of this vacation rental, perfect for hiking, fishing, and beachcombing. Stop in at Sea Lion Caves, the country's largest sea caves, to see the animals in their native habitat.



The house itself sits on a heavily wooded lot, which makes the space feel private and secluded. After a long day on the beach, come back to your cozy vacation rental and use the fully equipped kitchen to put together a home-cooked dinner. Relax in the living room while you browse cable channels on the flatscreen TV, or use Roku to stream something on demand. Location was perfect for our plans. Note that the larger Queen bed is upstairs (very steep - difficult to take any luggage up and down) the full bed and bathroom are on the main floor.

Great location with wonderful access to the beach, with access right across the street. The house was very comfortable for us and a kitchen that was well stocked with all the tools needed to make meals. There were only a couple minor issues with our stay. The downstairs bedroom window had no screen, so you really couldn’t keep it open without a plethora of bugs entering. The door to the deck upstairs was jammed shut and we were too apprehensive to force it open. The tv and the internet associated with it were wonky and not always working.We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this home to any couples that might visit the Oregon coast.
