Marco Island has been an integral part of my life for over fifty years. My family first discovered Marco back in 1974, and I even attended Tommie Barfield Elementary as a kid in the late 1970s. Today, my wife and I split our time between the Midwest and the island as part-time residents, carrying on a five-decade love affair with this special community.

When we’re here, you’ll usually find us out on the water, exploring local spots, or enjoying the evening gulf breeze. As hosts, our deep roots here translate directly into how we take care of our guests: we maintain our home with meticulous attention to detail and love sharing our insider knowledge so you can experience Marco Island like a true local.

For us, it came down to two things: effortless beach access and walkability. Public beach access points are limited on Marco Island, and having one virtually right across the street completely changes your vacation experience. You never have to load up the car or worry about beach parking.
