We used this as a jumping off point for exploring the Mt St Helens area. The apartment is on the downhill end of the house with a separate driveway - not necessarily apparent as you drive in at night. Plenty of dishes and a full-sized fridge.

The property was one of the best-appointed locations we have stayed in. It had just about everything you could think of and some things you might not. The host thoughtfully provided two different body washes, one for sensitive skin. They also provided boxes of tissues. This may seem like a small detail, but I often mention it during reviews. You would be surprised how many locations I have stayed at where there were no tissues. We like to cook our own dinners and breakfast, so the kitchen is very important to me. It had everything I needed to cook, and there is a grocery store three minutes away.
