This holiday home is located in a rural area and is perfect for a relaxing holiday. Despite its quiet location, there are several activities and attractions to discover. The holiday home was modernised in 2021 and tastefully furnished. It is a small, cosy house in Obernburg, a district of the Vöhl National Park municipality. This cosy holiday home features three bedrooms, a modern kitchen, and a very tastefully decorated bathroom. There’s also a spacious living room with plenty of seating for relaxing, where you can wind down at the end of the day watching a 42-inch flat-screen TV. The house spans two floors; the second floor is accessed via a slightly steeper staircase. Two of the three bedrooms are located there.
It is a small village with good access to bike paths. There is also a well-developed network of hiking trails with extensive forests surrounding Obernburg. As part of the town’s history, there’s also a “dragon’s lair” called Siegfriedshöhle, which invites you to explore. In addition to the hiking and biking trails, there’s a lookout tower with a beautiful panoramic view to discover—nature lovers in particular will find plenty to enjoy here.
The holiday home is centrally located in town; just one street away, the children can let off steam at a great playground. The playground features a zip line, a slide with a tower, two swings, a carousel, a large sandpit, a seesaw, and other play equipment. In addition, right next to the playground is a large sports field where children can shoot at not only two goals but also a goal wall. There’s also a ping-pong table there, perfect for a fun game of ping-pong. While taking a walk through the village, you can spot animals such as cows, donkeys, horses, chickens, ducks, and geese.
Thus, the holiday home’s location offers guests of all ages plenty of opportunities to explore or simply enjoy the peaceful countryside.
