First Class Vacation Apartment with Amazing View towards Old Town & Fortress

Apartment 'Domblick' is situated at the foot of the Mönchsberg, only a few minutes from the banks of the river Salzach. It offers picture book views towards the Old Town with dome, palace and fortress. It is a third floor apartment in a renovated 16th century townhouse (with lift) in one of the oldest parts of the city. Next to it is the old Parish Church of Muelln and the Augustiner monastery turned brewery with its unique historical beer hall and the best beergarden in town.

1184 sq ft. Apartment 'Domblick' has two very large bedrooms with double beds, a fully equipped built-in Poggenpohl kitchen with washing machine & dryer, dishwasher, oven with ceran field, microwave, Nespresso machine, toaster etc. and a 320 sq ft living/dining room with satellite tv, DVD, hifi stereo, WiFi, remote control lighting and seating for four. The bathroom offers a tub with shower as well as a bidet and there is a separate WC.

The apartment has a triple aspect with eleven (!) windows and is therefore not only spacious, but also very light and bright.

Restaurants and shopping facilities are just around the corner and so is the bus stop and the next train station so that you do not need a car to explore Salzburg and its vicinity. For those who come by car there is a large (and safe) car park behind the Augustiner brewery just 3 minutes away.

The location is amazing! Property is very large and comfortable. Check in process was smooth. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the listing states in 2 places that the property has air conditioning. It was very disappointing when we arrived for our stay in the middle of a heat wave to properly with no air conditioning and just fans.

This is the most beautifully appointed apartment in a great location. The rooms are large and airy with great views of the city and it is just a 10 minute walk down the hill and alongside the river into the city centre. There are also a few shops, cafes and restaurants nearby.

Such a lovely apartment. Very clean, well equipped, perfect location! We appreciated the early check in and how helpful Rebecca was when we got there. If we get back to Salzburg we would stay there again without hesitation!

This place is absolutely lovely!! Very spacious, nicely appointed, and a fully-equipped kitchen with coffee pods provided. We loved the location, and there are good views from the living room and one of the bedrooms. It's a fairly short walk into town, and transportation options are nearby. Good restaurants and beer gardens are close by. We would absolutely stay here again, other than during the summer months. The VRBO listing in English says it has air conditioning and it does not. There are fans, and with windows open there is a good air flow between rooms to cool it off, which does help.

This place was fabulous. Beautiful home. Gorgeous furnishing's and immaculately clean. Great location. Be sure to eat at Barenwirt right next door. Many other restaurants within walking distance. 15 minute walk down to the Old Town. The view from the living room window is spectacular. Communication with Wilfried and Rebecca was smooth and easy. Absolutely recommend staying here!!

The place is beautiful, clean, and in a great location. Note to future guests its not a traditional 1.5 bathroom. The one room has a toilet, and the other only has a bidet. However there is a sink in each room.

Great Place in Salzburg

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location is excellent - close enough to the old town to walk there in 10-15 minutes, but far enough out of town to be quiet and restful. Also great proximity to walking trails.

Salzburg festival

We really enjoyed the ability to "feel at home" during our stay in Salzburg. The apartment is centrally located with walking distance to restaurants, the Braustubl, the river walk, short walk to Old Town/Center of Salzburg and Mirabell Castle. Overall a very enjoyable stay for our week in town.
