The charming seaside resort of Breege is known on Rügen as the “town of captains.” In days gone by, captains chose Breege as their preferred place of residence because of its idyllic location—right in the heart of Rügen’s picturesque Bodden landscape—and its small harbour. From the Brege harbour, you can take the ferry to visit, for example, the island of Hiddensee and the Störtebeker Festival in Ralswiek, or to explore the “mainland” of Rügen.
You’ll find a bakery, supermarket, and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The beautiful Schaabe, one of the most stunning beaches along the entire Baltic Sea coast, is easily accessible in about 5 minutes by car or 10 minutes by bike. Ample parking is available there.
Of course, a parking space reserved for you is located right next to the house.
