!!!Calling all pet lovers!!!This vacation hit a reset button for us. We absolutely loved it here. Brownie the horse was the biggest love and would come to the front porch to visit. The cows are just as friendly! There's a lama named Ted but we called him the drama lama as he's not interested in being petted but wanted to still be close. There is 375 acres to explore and we barely scratched the surface during our stay! It was really cool to watch the family work their farm. We stayed during bailing season, so we got to watch how the farmers bail up the hay. That was epic to say the least! Agritourism is a must try if you haven't already add it to your travel bucket list. Seriously, you won't regret this stay! Make sure to bring your camera, there are so many photo opportunities to capture.Already booked another stay for this little getaway and honestly can't wait to go back!
This was a truly 15/10 experience. Communication was responsive and thorough without feeling intrusive or too much. The property was absolutely beautiful and we had free reign to explore as we pleased. The house itself is well maintained, and was clean as a whistle, and far enough from the main house and the active parts of the farm to feel truly private. The closest thing to a "downside" I can come up with is it's remote, which is clearly communicated and should be obvious when you look at the map, and as such Sage and Emily had stocked lots of easy to forget necessities like unscented shampoo and body wash and q tips to save guests a trip into town. Brownie the horse is my new best friend and I miss her already. The only other thing I would say is that the photos almost undersell how nice it is. My partner and I whiled away the morning hours just drinking coffee and staring out the front windows. As I said at the start, 15/10, we will definitely book again if we return to the area!
