House was very clean, good size, property was clean. Plenty of parking, and kinda tucked in the woods so you’re not visible to the neighbors which is nice. Overall a fun little get away.

The house:The house itself is very charming from the outside. However, the host failed to mention the construction though. Not that it was going on while we were there, it was just cluttered and dusty and smelled of chemicals. Also, it was very unsettling to see multitudes of knife marks in some of the interior doors as if some psycho had held target practice inside due to inclement weather. The owner:The owners don’t mention in the listing anything about being required to pay an addition 90 in order to book their place until the very end. The owners also failed to mention the rooster that lives on property. Well, they do tell you about him once you’re there in their guid book to the house. The best part came after the trip though. The owners are attempting to erroneously add additional charges for “damages” instead of going through the insurance I was forced to buy. 1. of the damages they are claiming was us allowing the dog to swim in the pool with us. The owners are saying it was in the house rules when it was clearly not. The damage they are claiming…. dog hair.2. They are also attempting to claim a broken pool railing which never happened. They have yet to provide any receipts or evidence of either claim and when I attempted to reach out them have gone radio silent. I was very disappointed by state of the property and the shady attempt at cash grabs by the owners. DONT RENT HERE!

Very nice, cozy, quiet. Getting to the pool was the only negative. The path is difficult.
