The stunning villa 'Algarrobo Azul' is located in Almuñecar and overlooks the sea.

Pros: La casa es cómoda para pasar él tiempo en ella. Al principio nos dimos cuenta de que la anfitriona vivía al lado y pensamos que no seria cómodo pero fue todo lo contrario, apenas nos dimos cuenta de que estaban y cuando la necesitamos estaba para todo. Pros: Just a couple of miles from Almunecar, up a narrow hillside road with curves giving you a view of the slopes with olive trees and the Mediterranean sea in the distance we arrived at the newly renovated country house and welcomed by Gerry and Fred Walsteijn. I was impressed. Each of us had an outstanding room with all the comfort and luxury we could wish.It was the perfect base to explore and discover the area. Also enjoying the peace and quiet, Spanish food, BBQ and nice weather, gave me the feeling our stay was too short. Hope to return soon

Pros: Ik was van woensdag t/m dinsdag bij Gerry en Fred in Almunecar. Het was geweldig. Ik werd verwelkomt door Gerry.Ze wonen niet zo hoog in de bergen van Almunecar.Van de voorzieningen had ik niet veel gebruik gemaakt want Gerry kan heerlijk koken en daar heb ik van genoten. Het was telkens een verrassing. Een enkele keer ben ik aan het strand uit eten geweest en dat was ook voortreffelijk. Almunecar ligt erg gunstig ten opzichte van Malaga en Granada. Gerry had mij een keer helemaal naar boven gebracht en ben ik over de kam van de berg gelopen en tussen de olijfbomen door naar beneden gewandeld.Er is ontzettend veel te zien en te beleven dat de tijd veel te kort was en ik weer een keertje terug ga.

El único inconveniente es la carretera de acceso, muy sinuosa, muy estrecha y con tráfico, no recomendable para personas con miedo a las alturas y a precipicios. Para ir a la playa se tardaba media hora. Es necesario coche.
