Beautiful home, bright, spacious, sunny with plenty of amenities. House is well kept, clean and welcoming. Definitely will be back for another visit! Host was super responsive and communicated quickly when needed. Good location, 5-10 minutes to downtown or groceries.

This is one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed at and we travel a lot. Beautiful newly renovated space that kept to the original character of the home. All high end finishes and spa like feel to the Master en-suite. Gorgeous view out the front picture windows and saw a bald eagle on two different days. Close to the action but quiet and out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Boothbay Harbor. We cannot recommend this property highly enough!!! 5 Stars!!!

Harbor Hideaway is a lovely property. We were 3 adults staying for 3 nights and found the house to be spacious, clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Gillian provided plenty of information in the house, but also communicated with me regularly during our stay to see if we had any questions or concerns. There is a pretty view of the pond and we enjoyed time on the front deck enjoying that view. We found the location to be perfect for us - it felt quiet and remote but we were just a couple of miles from the shops, restaurants and activities of Boothbay Harbor.

I would like to thank Gillian for her speedy responses to all of my questions. The home was spotless and very clean and comfortable. The booklet with places to visit and dine was very helpful. It isn't often a hostess even goes through the trouble of supplying plenty of single and packaged served coffee, that is so thoughtful. We enjoyed playing cornhole, ping pong, watching TV in the den, which had a large comfortable lounging area and relaxing on the front deck with the wonderful views of the pond.I would highly recommend this home as a pleasant and comfortable place to stay while visiting the Boothbay area.Sharon

We rent homes on VRBO pretty often, and this is one of the best we’ve stayed in. The view of the pond is so peaceful. The house is beautifully designed and well stocked with things you might need - extra toothbrushes and toothpaste if you forgot yours, plenty of toilet paper and paper towels, extra bedding and a twin mattress you can put on the floor if you have an extra guest, well stocked kitchen, including a special pot for steaming lobsters. Gillian the host was also a great communicator. We had trouble with the lock on the first day, and she was available by phone to help, even sent a YouTube video about how the keypad works best.Great place, close to Boothbay Harbor. When the windows are open, you can hear cars passing on the busy road, but we didn’t mind that. Just mentioning it for folks extra sensitive to that.
