Our cottage is brand new, built in 2020, Radiant Heat on both 1st and 2nd floor. Enjoy the tranquility of a cozy cottage. King Select Comfort bed in master bedroom, 2nd floor bedroom has queen bed and sitting area. There is a fold away dining table for four in the eat in kitchen, gas range with gas oven, microwave, coffee maker, farmers porch on the front to enjoy the fall, winter and spring air. Enjoy coffee on the porch. Ample parking for two vehicles. Entire cottage on beautiful Southport Island just minutes from downtown Boothbay Harbor. Room/Window Air conditioners for summer comfort! Boothbay Region has a lot to offer in all four seasons. Many restaurants and shops remain open year round.

A cozy cottage

This cozy cottage is in the heart of Mid-coast Maine, with very easy access to Boothbay Harbor, It is extremely clean and comfortable, and the hosts offer easy and gracious communication.

They Thought of Everything

Jana and Tammy allowed us to book last minute and were very accommodating! The house was very clean and check in was contactless and super easy. The bed in the master was a very comfortable king sized sleep number bed. We slept like babies! The kitchen was well equipped. Every single detail has been thought out in this home. We didn’t need a thing! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful spot just outside Boothbay Harbor. Spotless, comfortable couch and beds, fully stocked kitchen, games, a great outdoor spot to grill or have a fire. Owners were quick to respond and gave us great suggestions for dinner. We had a wonderful time!

I have had good hosts before, but Tammy and Jana were exceptional. From the list of suggested restaurants to giving us the info for an 80's concert that was happening in town while we were there. Additionally, for the concert they let us use camp chairs and a cooler. They were amazing and the cottage was great. It was perfect for the two of us. Great outside area with a grill. Super easy to get into Boothbay Harbor, so the location was perfect. We had an amazing time at this cottage. We would highly recommend this VRBO at Decker Cove.

We built our main house and cottage on Southport for the sense of community in 2019 and 2020. I was born and raised in the Boothbay Region and find Southport to be a wonderful community to live and work in. The fellow islanders look out for each other and its a peaceful tranquil place to be. We would love to share our little piece of paradise with you!

Decker Cove Year Round Cottage is a brand new home built in 2020 with ample space for four people to enjoy the home and surrounding area, in all seasons.

What makes this property unique

Plummer Road is a tree lined street with only a few homes. Our cottage is located a quick walk over Plummer Road bringing you to the waters edge. We are only 1.5 miles to quaint downtown Boothbay Harbor and many Boothbay Region Land Trust Trails and nature to explore. On the island, there is a public beach at Hendrick Head Lighthouse beach with amazing open ocean views as well!
