Welcome to The Goldfinch, our gorgeous new vacation home in the most loved neighborhood in west Olympia, where vintage charm meets modern comfort. Enjoy single level living, all new kitchen appliances, new mattresses and bedding, and a large manicured yard, affording you space and privacy. The well-appointed kitchen provides everything you need to cook meals with your friends and family. You can walk downtown to shops, restaurants and local attractions. A memorable holiday awaits you! We are close to all the amenities Olympia has to offer. It's a short distance to walk downtown, to the farmer's market, and to Capital Lake. The Capital Mall, shopping, supermarkets and Target are just over a mile away. This is a peaceful area with kind neighbors. Quiet hours are 9 pm to 8 am, and music should be played inside only. We allow one dog to accompany your stay, and ask that you deposit all pet waste in the outside trash prior to departure. The yard is fully fenced for your pet's safety and enjoyment. Dogs are not permitted on the furniture, and should not be left alone in the house. For any questions during your stay, contact us on the VRBO platform. We are dedicated to hospitality, and hope you have a wonderful vacation in our home. Why they chose this property

We love Olympia! You can walk down the street in our neighborhood and see Mt Rainier, the south Sound, and the Olympics. We walk around Capital Lake with our pup and meet all kinds of friendly people. The bookstores, coffee shops, restaurants, and galleries can't be beat.

What makes this property unique

Our home is on a double lot and we have a large fenced yard with lovely trees and plants, with lots of privacy and natural beauty. We can walk downtown, or to the local Co-op, or to a local elementary school with an after-hours dog park. Our home was built in 1939 and has so much original charm, along with all new appliances to help make fantastic meals. We have dedicated work spaces making this an ideal place to be digital nomads. There's so much to explore in the PNW!
