The Space:

This unique and spacious row home - with a finished basement - is in the heart of The Village at Bear Trap Dunes and features approximately 3,100 square feet of vacation space. This darling escapade has been recently updated with LVP flooring throughout (no carpeting) and granite countertops in the kitchen. The main level features the living and dining area, and a well-equipped kitchen. The finished basement features a comfortable sitting area with TV, table and chair set for game playing or additional dining space, and there is also an electronic dart board as well. Lots to offer! Great for golfers or a large family or group. Guests can enjoy central air conditioning and a full-size washer and dryer, too. All TVs are smart TVs, and guests can enjoy foosball, electronic darts, and grilling out in the fresh air. The Village at Bear Trap Dunes surrounds 27 holes of championship golf at Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club. Delaware Accommodations Intermediary License #2026703650 Things to Know The garage is available for storage only - not for parking Streaming services available with guests' accounts Guests may travel by car to reach this townhouse *Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available. The Bear Trap Dunes Owners Association charges an optional per-person fee for guests ages four years and older for the use of the community’s amenities, including the in-season beach shuttle, pools, tennis and fitness center. This fee varies by the time of year and is subject to change without notice. Guests who opt to purchase amenity passes must purchase at the Bear Trap Pavilion.

The home was clean, family friendly, and spacious. My family was able to sleep, eat, and bathe comfortably. We were provided with everything we needed (towels, kitchen essentials, blankets, grill, etc) and the location was perfect for a short drive to Bethany Beach and a slightly longer ride to Ocean City or Rehoboth Beach. The biggest problem was that the property listing and the manual in the home suggested that we would have access to the Golf Club amenities like the pool, basketball courts, and playgrounds. We attempted to access those amenities and were informed that we were required us to purchase a 3-day (65) or 7-day pass. There was not an option for single day use. I contacted VRBO as the manual of the house said that VRBO would provide us with access passes. VRBO read a policy that essentially stated that the rules regarding access to amenities were subject to change at any time. A bit disappointed that we were not able to use the pool because this contributed to my decision to book, but the home overall was lovely.
