We had a fantastic time staying at the house in Falmouth. There were 8 people in our group, 4 adults and 4 almost adult children. There is plenty of room for a large group, two living rooms, a dining room, a large deck and a large yard. Three of the four bedrooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The primary bedroom is large and has a little deck. The 2 upstairs bedrooms share a bath.The location is great, you can walk to 2 different beaches in 10/15 min. There's a great market & a few restaurants, also in walking/short drive distance.The 4th bedroom is the reason I gave 4 and not 5 stars for overall satisfaction and cleanliness. We knew that the fouth bedroom was in the basement, which was going to be ok for the two 'boys' (14 and 18). Unfortunately one of the boys was on crutches and couldn't do the stairs. In reality, I wouldn't call that a bedroom, it is very basementy. The sleeping area in the basement has one basement window, which doesn't open, wasn't clean, and was covered by leaves etc. on the outside. The air was musty and unpleasant. My niece, who was assigned the room with her brother, did not want to sleep down there because of the musty air and basic creepiness. We hadn't planned on anyone sleeping on the sofa, but she did. Fortunately, the sofa was very comfortable without pulling it out as a bed.This property is maintained by a management company and could use a walk-through to address things like light bulbs and clogged gutters and musty basement.
