Great stay!
The home was cozy, private and a great location for our trip to Acadia NP. Be aware, there are a lot of stairs, as the unit is on the 2nd floor.

Trip to Bar Harbor
The barn was a great place to stay during our trip to Bar Harbor. The amenities were clean, the place was fairly easy to get to, and the privacy was really nice to have. It's a bit outside of Bar Harbor and Acadia Park's entrance, but it wasn't hateful. Great place!
Perfect location as an alternative to Bar Harbor
The home has everything! We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the outside fire pit and grill.
Thank you! Lovely home.
Clean, quiet and comfortable. We saw deer and turkeys on the property. A tip for other guests-the remote for the heating/cooling unit is behind the curtain on the wall. It took us a while to locate it. Very happy with our stay.

Vacation to Lamoine Maine
Location of "The Barn" was perfect for us to get everywhere we wanted to go. Marlboro Beach was just a short walk away and ran into some local residents who shared some good local spots to go for Lobster. The rooms are clean, but some items need replaced in the kitchen. The skillets are not non stick anymore and some of the plates are chipped and drinking glasses were only a few. We purchased a few items and left there for future guests. We'll stocked toiletries and towels and linens. Would definitely stay here again.

Wooded Retreat
Pretty spot and nice living space in a good location. Arrived after dark and there were no lights on - difficult finding lockbox and getting it open but phone support helped. Problem with heat the first night was addressed immediately in the morning. Despite the problems we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful cozy home
This was a nice place off the beaten path. It was very quiet, away from the crowds. We had 5 with us and the I ly downside is there are no window shades in the living room, if using the sofa sleeper. The room became light early in the morning. There were no sheets for the sofa sleeper, so we pieced some twin sheets together and made do.

Really Cute Place
We loved the house, and the location. It is very close to a sweet little beach you can either walk to or drive to. The house is quaint and quiet, we really did not hear much of the shop downstairs when we were home during working hours.
My only complaints are that the kitchen sink and the fridge were not cleaned when we got there, the toilet is not stable so it wobbles some. There were no clear arrival instructions on how to get in the house, if there were I could not find them. There were no clear instructions on where to go when you pulled into the driveway, or where to find the key, or exactly where to park. We got there at night and had a hard time figuring out how to get in. We also had issues with the dryer when we were there, there is no way to get ahold of your host, so you have to go through a third party to communicate which makes communication very lengthy, inconvenient and hard. When the issue was being resolved they were contacting us, not the house host which was very difficult as we did not have much service where we were.

Hi Katie, thank you for taking the time to share your valuable feedback. While we are glad to hear that you loved the home, we are saddened for the cleanliness and maintenance issues you had during your stay with us. We apologize for the inordinate wait times you experienced upon arrival and for the frustration caused by the limited access information provided. Sorry for the delay in the care you received when communicating with our team, as this is not the high level of customer care we strive to provide. We regret for dropping the ball for your stay and will be sure to follow up with our local staff regarding the toilet, cleanliness and washer dryer issue to ensure this won't happen again in the future. Also, we have passed along your comments to the appropriate parties regarding the arrival instructions so it will be updated and should not pose further issues. We hope that you will allow us the chance to host you for a truly relaxing getaway in the future.
