Overpriced KOA

Stayed in high end and low end places. Normally don’t care about most things and just leave a good review, until something really irks me. So I’ll start with main thing. Needed to foam roll after long days of driving so did so on the rug. Now the light sucks and I didn’t pay too much attention. Normally I don’t have allergies but started itching and there was a really strong smell of pet dander. With poor light quality, wood walls, and a dark rug I didn’t notice the state of rug. Well our dog had a small accident and after cleaning it I went to wal mart to buy a carpet cleaner, because adults clean up their messes. Well I ended up moving furniture out of the way and started seeing just how soiled it was and clearly hadn’t been cleaned it quite some time. Absolutely disgusting how much crap I cleaned out of it and how much brighter it got. So seriously if you are going to charge extra for a pet cleaning fee then clean the place. Now for the rest. This is basically a glorified KOA. That’s clear when you see the layout and setup. The kitchen was the cheapest crap they could find and the knifes were so dull I literally couldn’t cut herbs or bread. The appliances look to be 30 years old. The stove wouldn’t get hot enough to boil water, but the oven burned things within seconds. The toilets are perfect height for toddlers. While I only found one mouse turd in silverware drawer, I didn’t care too be woken up at 3am to a mouse scratching somewhere in walls of bathroom. Save your

We are truly sorry to hear about the issues you experienced during your stay, especially with the cleanliness of the rug and the condition of the kitchen and appliances. We strive to provide a comfortable and well-maintained environment for all our guests, and it’s clear we fell short in your case. We completely understand how frustrating it must have been to deal with those concerns, and we appreciate you taking responsibility for cleaning up after your dog. Your point about the pet cleaning fee is valid, and we will be sure to pass your feedback along to our local team to ensure the home is thoroughly cleaned and maintained moving forward. Regarding the kitchen appliances and the mouse disturbance, we are very sorry for the inconvenience and discomfort this caused you. We will notify our maintenance and housekeeping teams immediately to address these issues. We value your honest feedback as it helps us improve our services. We want to make this right and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a much better experience in the future.
