Our stay was absolutely fantastic. We are a family of six with an older dog and only get to visit Oak Island as a family once a year. This trip/stay was by far our favorite yet. The house was immaculate and Kimberly, the hostess, quite literally thought of everything. Our children range in age from 5-16 and there was something for each of them to enjoy. We played several rounds of Uno, watched movies, and my teenagers enjoyed lounging outside on the patio and relaxing in the hammock when we weren’t at the beach or exploring. We cooked at night and the kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans and utensils. Our dog, Butch, felt right at home and had a safe space to himself. The home is close enough to walk (albeit a long walk) to the beach, yet far enough away that at night it is quiet and serene. Definitely 5stars all the way around — Kimberly is by far the BEST hostess we have had - we would absolutely rate it ten stars if able! Cannot wait until our next visit!
