Quaint recently remodeled two bedroom one bath duplex . Center of the island and walking distance to all the restaurants, shops, beach and waterway. Awesome outdoor shower that our guests love. Private fenced backyard with large covered patio for you and your four legged friend. Two queen beds WiFi, cable, games, videos, and books for your entertainment. Two blocks from public boat launch. Check listing #811484 Side A also ....same set up as here available at the same price. Pet fee is $100..2 dog max. Please be aware that your are responsible for leaving the place as tidy as you found it. Linens and bath towels are NOW provided.

Really enjoyed our vacation here. It was perfect for our dog as well. We loved the outdoor patio with the grill and the fan!! lol (great idea). Nice kitchen with everything you need. Mattress in first bedroom slept really good!! We didn’t try the other. A/C works wonderfully and it was really clean. We would love to visit this spot again. Thanks so much!

It really is a charming cottage!

Great place! The owners are very pleasant and easy to work with. The house is well maintained and is well furnished. The fenced yard was a real plus since we had our dog with us. Nice patio. Convenient location - easy walk to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay here!

First Vacation on Oak Island

We really enjoyed our stay at Steve and Janet's place. The house was as advertised and the fenced in backyard was great for our dog. The property is close to shops, good restaurants, grocery stores, and most important, the beach. We would definitely consider this rental for our next beach vacation.

Perfect place for 4 people and a dog..... what if I said we loved it.. Fenced area ...covered patio...charmingly decorated..... kitchen very modern.... location near ABC, Groceries, Restaurants, Gift shop, Beach and Inlet, and still extremely quiet... and owners great great.

Perfect Family Vacation

Communication from Steve was excellent. He made sure we would enjoy our stay with excellent suggestions on things to do and places to eat. This was our 1st vacation as a family, we even got to bring along our dog, Berneice. We will definitely try to stay at this location again in the future.

Great space with pet accommodations!!

My husband and I traveled with our two dogs and stayed at this cottage… and we will be back! The pictures were right on and the fact that our dogs were welcome sweetened the deal. The space was clean & welcoming and the yard was perfect for our dogs. They even have throws for the furniture for late night puppy snuggles!!!! We would choose this spot if available whenever we go back. Great location too! Super quick drive to the beach and definitely walkable if that’s for you!!

Perfect little place

We have zero complaints - everything was clean and exactly as pictured, honestly even better. We loved the thought and care that went into everything - the backyard was so nice and private, the outside shower was perfect and there was even a small motion light that clicked on if you were out there after dark. The covered porch and fan were a great bonus and really just made for a nice space to sit and relax. It is a bit of a walk to the beach but my kids are older and handled it pretty well. We would love to come back! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect home away from home

Spent a week at this property with 2 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2 Great Danes. It was roomy enough that we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. The dogs loved the fenced in yard. It is a quick walk to the main stretch for restaurants/shopping. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The beach is easily accessible and is a walkable distance. The road you have to cross is quite busy and there are no crosswalks so keep that in mind. The teens gave their seal of approval on the house and both my husband and I enjoyed our stay immensely. We would definitely consider renting again should we find our way back to Oak Island.

Great Place for a Great Price!

This was mine and my husbands first vacation together besides our Honeymoon and we couldn't be more glad that we picked this home to stay in. We loved that we could bring our dog along with us to enjoy our first little family vacation! (This was her first beach trip and she loved every second of it) I think it is safe to say that we spent more time outside on the patio than we did inside the house. The fenced yard and outdoor setup were perfect for relaxing with our pup after day at the beach. Our only regret was not renting the golf cart that Steven had offered, but there was always ample parking down at the beach access. We did both, drive and walk to the beach. The walk is not bad at all and I can honestly say I enjoyed the walk down to the beach, but the walk back wasn't my favorite which is why we would drive sometimes. We absolutely loved our time here and our interactions with owners were also great. We hope to return one day!

Relaxing week..small quaint place

The house was very nice and clean. I wish the outdoor area would have been better maintained. The property has awesome potential to have an amazing outdoor seating area. We did have to clean the porch by sweeping and wiping down everything once we arrived. But it was all well after doing that. Very private.. the outdoor shower was to only one I used. The indoor bath is very small. However we did replace the shower curtain liner to feel more comfortable, as the one had a few spots on it. Perfect for two people more I would have felt it would have been too small. But it was a very enjoyable week. This is a short walk to the beach that is not to bad, but for someone who doesn’t want to walk far it may be worth driving. We only drove once when we were planning on spending more time on the beach. The restaurant at the end of the street is awesome for breakfast.

Quick Family Vacay

Our daughter just graduated high school and is headed to college. Our son is starting his senior year of college, and it’s not easy to align everyone for a family vacation. We were happy to find this opportunity on short notice and were able to bring our pups too! Perfect for them and a small family to spend a few days together!
