Villa Da Whale was a great experience for our family vacation this year. We took the (very short) drive into Ocean City to enjoy the beach and boardwalk just about every day. The property came with 4 beach chairs, which we made use of several times. We were able to ride our bikes to Caroline's (6 blocks down). We went fishing at the Longport Pier and the Beer Pier in Somers Point. The kids played with the oversized chess set in the back yard. The property owners were wonderful to deal with and even stopped by to take the garbage cans to the curb. The house is gorgeous, with updated bathrooms and kitchen. All the appliances are brand new. There are subtle little touches, like Villa Da Whale branded soaps and shampoo that make the experience feel like a resort hotel. This vacation was close to home, and a few of our kids had friends come down for the day to join us at the beach. Everyone remarked at how beautiful the house was. The beds were comfy and and the trip was very enjoyable for all of us. I felt a little sad when it was time for us to head back home. We usually like to change it up each year, but we are already talking about booking another week at Villa Da Whale next summer!
