Upon walking into the property everything was clean and looked amazing. The host communicated very well and was available for anything we needed. The pictures of the property do no justice to how it actually is. Very comfortable and spacious. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone coming to the San Diego area.

Cleaning lady was still present during check-in, and was there for a couple hours after check-in. Also front door keypad lock was incredibly finicky.

We appreciate your feedback and would like to clarify what occurred during check-in. The property was ready for your arrival. The person present was not a cleaner, but our local host, who had completed her final inspection and was preparing to leave when your group arrived. After noticing that the number of guests exceeded what was listed on the reservation, she offered to help prepare the additional beds. Your group accepted, and she remained for approximately an hour to assist—not because the property was still being cleaned or was unready. The keypad has since been inspected and confirmed to be functioning properly. If the door was left unlocked, entering the code would not produce the expected unlocking chime and would instead produce an error tone, making the lock appear unresponsive. With several guests coming and going, this is a plausible explanation for the difficulty reported.
