You can look forward to a well-equipped, cosy, non-smoking apartment measuring approximately 45 m², located in a quiet area on the outskirts of town near the forest. The entire property is wheelchair-accessible, with a private parking space right in front of the holiday rental and storage space for bicycles and motorcycles.
A spacious kitchen-living room that offers plenty of room for 2 people (+sleeper sofa). The kitchen is equipped with: an oven with a ceramic cooktop, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a coffee maker, a kettle and an egg cooker, a microwave, a toaster, a waffle maker, cutlery, and china.
Living area: TV (Netflix available), radio, comfortable couch
The bathroom is equipped with a rain shower, toilet, sink, and hair dryer.
Use of the washing machine is available by arrangement.
If needed, an interim cleaning of the apartment is available for €30.
Terrace with a quiet seating area, a sun shade, and lounge chairs. You can grill using either an electric grill or charcoal. A fire pit is available so you can end the day by the campfire in a special atmosphere. Firewood is provided upon request.
Our holiday rental is centrally located near the Maare, along award-winning hiking trails and various cycling and mountain biking routes—an ideal starting point for outdoor activities. Since we have our own pets, additional pets are not permitted.
In the neighbouring town of Gillenfeld (approx. 2.3 km away), you’ll find the nearest shopping options: a bakery, butcher, supermarket, restaurants, a off-licence, doctor’s office, dentist’s office, pharmacy, tourist office, bike shop, and a poultry and goat farm. EV charging station at Edeka (Strohner Str. 3).
. If you’re looking for peace, nature, and relaxation, our holiday rental is the right choice for you. However, if you’re looking for entertainment, shopping, music, and more, we recommend visiting larger towns nearby.

In the heart of the Vulkaneifel, in a quiet location on the outskirts of town near the forest. Surrounded by maars. Award-winning hiking trails and cycling/mountain biking routes can be accessed directly from the holiday rental. Located between Trier and Koblenz; 34 km from the Nürburgring and 33 km from Zell/Mosel. 



On-site costs: For bookings of 2 nights or more, there are no additional costs. The rate remains at 59,-€ per night. Bedding, kitchen linens, towels, and final cleaning are included in the price. Firewood is available free of charge upon request. The guest fee (formerly the visitor’s tax) for the Daun municipal association, amounting to 2.10 EUR per night for guests aged 18 and older, is already included in the total price. You will receive your guest card, along with the associated services and benefits, digitally or directly at the accommodation upon arrival.



Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and check-out is from 12:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
