FAMILY-FRIENDLY LEAVENWORTH CHALET MINUTES FROM DOWNTOWN, WALK TO RIVER FLOAT!

Chelan County STRP #1028 - This beautiful home has been furnished with lodge style furnishing. The Icicle Creek Chalet, which has been listed on VRBO since 2017, is located:
-just outside of downtown Leavenworth (3 minute drive, 20 minute walk)
-one block from the Leavenworth Golf Club
-one minute walk from a public river tubing put in (Bridge River Access Park)

The owners have made every effort to ensure that their guests feel welcome and comfortable. The property has granite counter tops, 2 bedrooms on the main floor with King beds, and a big open air loft bedroom upstairs with a Queen bed. The kitchen is well appointed and equipped with a slow cooker, rice maker, waffle iron 4 piece toaster and electric griddle, everything that a great home cook could ask for. There is a gas BBQ, hot tub and fire pit on the back patio area. The heated 2 car attached garage is equipped with Ping Pong and Foosball tables.

We're located right next to the Wenatchee River for easy tubing and rafting (you can walk to the river from home, float for 30-60 minutes, get out in downtown Leavenworth and get a quick ride back home!). This home is perfect for your week or weekend getaway.

Additionally, although we show a 2 night minimum stay, we are willing to make exceptions for quick getaways to Leavenworth on non-holiday Monday through Thursday nights. The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:

Start the dishwasher

Strip any used beds and gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

Start a wash load of towels. Make sure water setting is set to full load. Place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher, add dishwasher soap and start Put all garbage in the garbage can located in the shed

Check to see that all appliances are turned off, particularly the oven. Unplug all appliances that you have plugged-in. Return all items to where you found them.

Turn off all lights with the exception of the back porch lights. Make sure the switch is turned on to the back porch lights as they automatically turn on and off. Make sure all doors are locked.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Great stay. Highly recommend you bring an intertube if you stay here. This place is literally right next to the most popular float starting spot and there is a shuttle that takes you right back to the house for free as long as you ex. It was awesome. Will definitely stay here again.

The house was perfect for our girl’s weekend. The living room had lots of seating, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans and small appliances. We played games around the big kitchen table and outside in the evening. It was a quick drive into town. The host responsed quickly to my questions.

I’m a Washington native and outdoor enthusiast who spends as much time as possible snowboarding, hiking, climbing, gravel biking, and riding motorcycles. My wife, Daniela, moved to the United States from Venezuela 14 years ago and quickly fell in love with the beauty and adventure of the Pacific Northwest. She is a synchronized swimming coach and brings incredible energy to everything she does. Together with our baby boy, Kian, we love escaping to the chalet and creating lasting memories there. It’s a special place for us to relax, recharge, and enjoy the outdoors. We hope your family enjoys the chalet just as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

The reason my wife and I chose to buy a home in Leavenworth goes back to the very first time we visited friends during Oktoberfest. We had such an unforgettable experience that we knew someday we would own a place here ourselves. From the incredible atmosphere in town to the welcoming people, amazing German beer, food, and year-round attractions, Leavenworth quickly became one of our favorite places to escape to.

What made this home on Icicle Creek especially perfect for us was its location and access to everything we love most about the Pacific Northwest. We are passionate about hiking adventures like The Enchantments, spending winters exploring the backcountry near Stevens Pass, and enjoying summers floating the river with easy access located directly across the street from the home. Being surrounded by mountains, water, and endless outdoor recreation while still being close to town made this property feel like the ideal fit for our family.

What makes our home truly unique is its unbeatable location and the experience we strive to create for every guest. The home offers quick walking access to tubing and the Adventure Park, making it easy to enjoy some of Leavenworth’s most popular activities without needing to drive or deal with parking. At the same time, you are only a quick five-minute drive from the heart of downtown Leavenworth, giving you easy access to all the shops, restaurants, breweries, and events the town has to offer.

Beyond the location, hospitality is something that is very important to us personally. I come from a customer service background, and I take great pride in doing everything possible to ensure the home is presented at its absolute best and that every guest has an amazing, comfortable, and memorable stay. We want guests to feel welcomed, relaxed, and excited to return year after year.
