Situated in the heart of the Cevennes, on the borders of the counties of Le Gard and La Lozère, the Lou Sourel gîte is situated map in the upper part of the village of Saint Roman de Tousque with a panoramic view looking out over the Vallée Française in the county of La Lozère and the Vallée Borgne in the county of Le Gard.

The Gîte is easily accessible via the Corniche des Cévennes tourist route which is quite well known and runs from Saint Jean du Gard to Florac. It is situated 1h30 from Montpellier, 1h15 from Nîmes, 50mins from Alès, 35 mins from Anduze and Florac and 20 mins from Saint Jean du Gard.

You will find all the modern conveniences in this 200-year-old house built in local stone.

The renovations have been done using traditional materials and new ecological products and techniques.

A solar system has been installed to provide hot water supplemented when necessary by a gas heating system.

Le chemin d'un paradis

Nous aimerions vous dire de ne pas louer ce bien pour le préserver un peu égoïstement...pour conserver des dates de location mais ça serait nier les bienfaits qu'apporte de séjourner dans ce lieu d'exception, la bienveillance et la gentillesse des hôtes, la vue incroyable sur ce que nous offre la nature de plus beau. On a juste hâte d'y retourner, rien d'autre 🙏🤗 a très vite!

Nous voulions du calme, nous avons été servi. C'était tout simplement parfait. Assis dans le transat, face à la montagne, le vent dans les arbres, le vol des oiseaux et c'est tout. L'impression d'être seul sur terre. Même la soirée d'orage était envoutante. Merci Astrid et Philippe pour votre accueil et votre gentillesse. Surtout, ne changez rien.

Séjour chez nos Hôtes Astrid et Philippe

Accueil 3 étoiles avec un max d'informations sur les possibilités du séjour à St Roman par nos hôtes. Lieux impeccables avec une vue magnifique depuis la terrasse : Vos petits déjeuners pourraient trainer en longueur, attention au retard pour le départ en rando. Ne manquez pas la bambouseraie et les baignades en rivières, Astrid et Philippe vous donnerons tous les bons coins. Si vous n'avez pas trop envie de cuisiner, les resto indiqués dans le guide bleu sont parfaits, avec une petite préférence de notre part pour le SUBVERS à Florac.

Entspannung pur.

Wir waren für eine Woche mit unserem Hund in dieser sehr gemütlichen und sauberen Wohnung. Die Terasse mit atemberaubenden Ausblick, alleine, ist die Buchung schon Wert. Super sympathische Gastgeber, die einem sehr gute Tipps für diverse Freizeitaktivitäten geben. Wer gerne mal komplett abschalten möchte, sollte hier vorbei schauen.

Maison charmante, vue époustouflante, face au massif de l'Aigoual, région superbe... Ein unglaublicher Ausblick von der Terasse

Ausschlaggebende für unsere Buchung war das Foto mit Blick von der Terasse - der zu allen Tageszeiten real noch beeindruckender ist. Wir haben einen tollen Wanderurlaub in einer sehr schönen, gut ausgestatteten Ferienwohnung verbracht und die regionalen Produkte genossen. Die vielen guten Tipps von Astrid und Philippe zur Region hätten noch für weitere Ferienwochen gereicht. Dazu liegen auch ausführliche und sortierte Informationsmaterialien im Haus. Wir wären sehr gerne noch länger geblieben!

Une semaine dans un havre de paix

Nous sommes venus passer une semaine pour fêter notre union et nous avons été d'abord très touchés par nos hôtes ( Astrid et Philippe ) qui nous ont merveilleusement accueillis ( le petit feu dans le poêle à notre arrivée, des petites douceurs locales , présentation des sites à découvrir ainsi que des randonnées à faire ), mais aussi du gite en lui même où se lient chaleur et confort avec en plus une vue splendide depuis la terrasse privative. Nous ne pouvons que conseiller pour tous les amoureux de la nature et du calme ce lieu si apaisant et nous ne manquerons pas de revenir. Un grand merci à tous les deux !

Prachtig appartement met grandioos uitzicht

Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien en heeft een terras met een fantastisch uitzicht over de Cevennen. Een heerlijke plek voor een vakantie. Eén ding goed om te weten: voor winkels (je Franse bakkertje) moet je een kwartier rijden.

Gîte avec terrasse idéal pour découvrir les cévennes.
