At the heart of the Cevennes National Park, a few kilometers from the small village of Saint-Germain-de-Calberte where to find the necessary shops, Mas de "Groupoulas" welcomes you for a pleasant holiday.

It consists of two completely independent lodgings. For rent there is only the large cottage, which can accommodate 5 people, the small cottage is in restoration. They benefit from a

exceptional location on 4 acres of greenery (including an Arboretum, a chestnut forest) and bordered by a river where you can swim and cool off in natural pools isolated.

You access the deposits via a path of about 1 km.

This typically renovated ensemble of Schist stone, roof Lauze, can accommodate friends or family.

Its geographical situation allows you to discover not far from here "La Bambouseraie" the city of Anduze with its typical market and its potteries, mountain bike tours, hiking, the path of Stevenson with the possibility of renting donkeys, and many other activities (caves, canyoning, ...)

Where to just enjoy quiet rest in a relaxing and revitalizing atmosphere of this little corner of paradise.

Unique hideaway

An amazing place to stay. Very peaceful, with beautiful grounds and, of course, the clear river and its many pools for bathing. The wooden terrace, where we ate all our evening meals, was like being in a giant treehouse. Our little grandson loved to watch all the trees. Very relaxing and ideal for a family get together with lots of cooking outside and games of petanque! The track down to the gite is very long and twisty and might be a challenge in a car without much clearance but it got easier as the week went by! We had a couple of very good lunches in the village and I would recommend a visit to the butcher's!

Séjour sublime dans les Cévennes

La maison est extraordinaire, le jardin l'est autant et nous avons adoré nous baigner, ou juste écouter la rivière qui coule à quelques mètres des terrasses. L'endroit est d'un calme absolu sans être complètement isolé, et le village avec toutes les commodités (et les départs de rando) n'est qu'à quelques minutes. Amateurs de tourisme de masse, allez ailleurs, fous de nature, réservez maintenant. Et en plus, les propriétaires sont adorables. Merci encore à eux.

Vous apprécierez la vue panoramique sur l’arboretum depuis la terrasse quelquesoit la météo avec option baignade au bout du jardin quand il fait beau.

Un rêve!

Nous avons vécu une semaine en dehors du temps, du monde...absolument formidable sur tous les points. Rien à ajouter! C'est parfait! Tranquillité, beauté du site, temps rêvé...la rivière a cet endroit est splendide, les ballades à proximité superbes! Bébé, enfant, jeune adulte, séniors....tout le monde y a trouvé son bonheur. L'accueil et la communication avec Laurent ont été vraiment au top, merci infiniment! Highly recommended!

Wunderbare Ruhe, erholsame Ferien

Die Lage ist wunderbar, mitten in der Natur und absolut ruhig. Die Anfahrt zum Haus dementsprechend lang, schmal und kurvig. Kleinere Geschäfte gibt es in St. Germain, zu einem größeren Supermarkt muss man ca 45Min Autofahrt einplanen. Die Beschreibung entspricht dem Haus. Vielleicht noch gut zu wissen: Im größeren Haus liegen die Schlafzimmer im 2.OG, Bad und WC im Keller/Souterrain. Durch einfache Holzböden recht hellhörig. Die Küche könnte zum Kochen für bis zu 7 Personen üppiger ausgestattet sein. Auf unsere Anmerkung hin will Laurent sich um zusätzliche Küchenmesser/Schneidunterlagen etc. kümmern. Im Haus und im schön angelegten Garten gibt es steile Treppen ohne Geländer und direkten Zugang zum Fluss, für Kleinkinder also nicht unbedingt zu empfehlen. Insgesamt ein wunderschöner Ort inmitten der Natur, der einem ganz alleine "gehört". Hier kann man zur Ruhe kommen und sich erholen!

Au calme, isolé dans un confortable nid au milieu la foret

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le Mas est vraiment très agréable. Idéal pour être au calme et se ressourcer au cœur de la nature loin de toute agitation. Merci à Laurent pour son accueil et le partage de ce lieu si agréable.
