Laufen is a town with a population of about 7,300 in the Berchtesgadener Land region, situated on the Alpine river Salzach, which forms the border between Germany and Austria here. The historic old town is characterised by the distinctive Inn-Salzach architectural style. The famous Mozart city of Salzburg can be reached in just 35 minutes by train or in about 30 minutes by car. Mountain lovers, nature enthusiasts, and cyclists will find plenty to enjoy in the surrounding, well-marked network of hiking and biking trails. You can also explore the Salzach floodplains by bike from the holiday rental. You’re welcome to bring your own bikes and store them in the garage. The holiday rental is located on an access road, just a few minutes’ walk from the centre. All amenities and services for daily needs are located in the immediate vicinity.

Charging electric cars using a standard household outlet (Schuko outlet)
Due to the high charging currents and continuous load, there is a risk of the outlet and wiring overheating, which in the worst case could even lead to a fire. Charging electric cars using a household outlet (Schuko outlet) in the holiday rental is not permitted.
This 2-room ground-floor apartment was completely renovated in July 2022 and furnished with new furniture. Holiday rental with a terrace in a quiet location. Staying with a Dog
Pets are permitted upon prior arrangement with the landlord. About 50 metres away, on Salzachweg (near the Schifferkapelle), there is a dog toilet with a built-in bag dispenser and dustbin.
