The house is spacious with updated paint and carpeting, ceiling fans in all bedrooms, and a clean kitchen and bathrooms. The backyard is well maintained and usable. Great location close to the Aurora Sports Complex. Housekeeping needs major improvements. Upon arrival, bathrooms had little or no soap or toilet paper. No refills available in the house. No shower soap provided. Many of the white bath towels / dish towels were heavily stained. There weren't enough bath towels for our seven family members. We had to share them. Ragged, stained extra towels were found in the linen closet. Some towels and bathroom drawers had clumps of hair in them. Carpets and a/c vents need serious vacuuming. Wet towels were left in the washing machine. The washing machine had a strong mildew smell and black mold surrounding the door seal. We contacted the host to ask for it to be cleaned. His response, " I'm not sure what to use to clean the washer. You could use Shout (laundry stain remover) and a washcloth". Window blinds in bedrooms/ living room have broken slats creating big holes to see through to the outside. The kitchen has the BARE MINIMUM for food prep and eating. There were no coffee mugs or wine glasses. Not enough plates/ glasses. No toaster, baking pans, serving bowls, measuring cups, etc. The dining table seats 4 people, but the house sleeps 8. We couldn't share a family meal around the table. Very disappointed with the lack of amenities at this property.
