North Sea coast, charming Frisian house on the old dike with sauna, fireplace, beach chair

Our holiday home on the North Sea coast in Hooksiel—consisting of three semi-detached units—is located in an old area just behind the old dike, near the historic town centre. The town centre is a 5-minute walk away. The beach is approximately 2 km away. A beach chair for guests is available on the clothing-required beach, near the kite school entrance (just under 4 km from the house).
The house offers everything you need to feel at home. In this front unit (House I), 4 cosy bedrooms invite you to dream, and there are 2 high-quality bathrooms with walk-in showers. The spacious living-dining room with a fireplace is the perfect place to wind down in the evening. The open kitchen keeps you right in the middle of the action.
A wellness experience is guaranteed, as there’s a sauna located behind the house in an annex. Use of the sauna is free of charge.
Of course, patio furniture is provided, as well as a large grill.
The old fishing village of Hooksiel on the North Sea coast charms visitors with its small shops and cafes in the pedestrian zone and its romantic old harbour. In addition to many recreational activities—such as the 4-km-long sandy beach, the water ski facility, the seawater wave pool, tennis courts, various horseback riding options, a surf school, museums, a trotting track, mudflat hikes, and more—you can also go on bike tours or simply enjoy the healthy sea air.

The visitor’s tax (guest card) is collected on behalf of the municipality of Wangerland shortly before arrival.
