Hi there and welcome to the family-friendly holiday home “Mare Frisium”—your 107 m² “home base” for activities and excursions, for relaxing, or simply for feeling at ease.
Spread over three floors, our home offers plenty of space for six guests of all ages, plus babies, who are looking for comfort and cosiness by the North Sea—whether with family, friends, or grandparents. Here, you can enjoy being close to the sea in every season.
Inside the house, you’ll find amenities such as a sauna, washer-dryer, a loggia with a sea view, and a terrace overlooking the Graft. Our house is one of the very few in the holiday complex to feature its own washer-dryer, allowing you to do your laundry whenever you like. The fully equipped kitchen includes, among other things, a dishwasher, oven, 4-burner stove with a ceramic cooktop, built-in microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and filter coffee maker, electric kettle, and much more. There are also practical appliances such as a hand blender, egg cooker, tabletop grill, vacuum cleaner, and much more.
The house has three bedrooms on the upper floor and in the attic, featuring two double beds and two single beds. Baby cots can be rented upon request.
The bathroom on the upper floor is equipped with a double sink, bathtub, separate shower, hair dryer, and toilet. Additionally, there is another separate toilet available on the ground floor.
To keep pesky insects out of the house during the warmer months, windows in all rooms are fitted with mosquito screens. This allows a fresh breeze to circulate through the house on hot days, providing natural cooling.
If you enjoy a brisk breeze on the beach or on the dike on cold days, you can warm up afterwards by the wood-burning stove or in the house’s own sauna.
For indoor leisure, the house offers two spacious living areas: The living room on the ground floor is the classic family gathering spot and is directly connected to the kitchen and dining area. From here, you also have direct access to the sun-drenched terrace overlooking the Graft, where you can enjoy cosy moments—from breakfast to an evening glass of wine.
The loft on the top floor, with its covered loggia, is the ideal retreat for reading, daydreaming, cuddling, watching TV, or listening to music. It’s our “Krähnennest”—the lookout for captains young and old, with a view of the Minsener Oog lighthouse and the countless ships that pass by Schillig every day.
The house is connected to the internet via a fiber-optic network, and our Wi-Fi is available to you free of charge.
You’ll find a Smart TV in both the living areas on the ground floor and in the attic. For children of all ages, a PlayStation (PS3) with a selection of games is available, which you can also use to play films on Blu-ray and DVD. In addition, you’ll find a small selection of board games for fun-filled evenings.

Dogs are welcome for a fee of €10 per pet per night. Other pets by arrangement.
Linen packages including bed linens and towels (no beach towels) can be booked separately (€25 per person).
The Wanderland municipal guest fee (visitor’s tax) is charged separately.
