Perfect

The property looks beautiful in the photos, so we had high expectations. When you get there it is even better than what you expect. After days at the beach, we spent the evenings in the outdoor braii area with the kids playing in the yard. Luxury and comfortable at the same time. yatdbackyard.Sucmountain

Home away from home! Comfort in a great location!

Well equipped rental in a very well situated spot. We especially enjoyed the outside with the braai. The lounge is very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The security is good and the property is fully fenced with a wall. The bedrooms are nicely decorated with comfortable linens. I can highly recommend it. Also the activities we enjoyed and can recommend is Southern Right Charters for whale watching an Fatbike Tours in Gansbaai to ride on the dunes. We also enjoyed The Fig Tree, Chard and Milk on Beach. The Lab is great for massages. The Hemel en Aarde valley is beautiful and there’s lots of great spots for lunch and wine tastings. Communication with Jens was very good. He made us feel cared after and Marna was good with checking us in and keeping us informed during our stay.

Our stay

Comfortable house but advertisement misleads about proximity to the beach. Need to drive to the beach - not walking distance. Price was higher than similar properties in the area but we took it to be able to walk to the beach. Suggest correction in the ad. I am an experienced traveller and would suggest that such a high priced house should have toiletries and a hairdryer as would be typical in Europe. Other than that I was satisfied. I also suggest better information with regard to getting the key. I was given 2 numbers only one of which is actually used by the keyholder and this created unnecessary stress.Beds were really comfortable.

Thank you for 8/10 review, Joyce. Travel time to the beaches is clearly advertised, both for a car ride and a walk. For a visit to the beaches, I recommend to take a car, as depicted in the description. Apologies for communication that was not as spontaneous as expected. As I understand, the reason for your complaint was your request, a day before arrival, to get access to the house four hours sooner than check-in time. Being a Sunday afternoon, this wish was gladly granted, albeit not within one minute but within one hour. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay and you are most welcome anytime again at Hibiscus on Fourth!

Traumhaus mit toller Ausstattung

Das Haus bietet alles was das Herz begehrt - angefangen von der top ausgestatteten Küche, den wahnsinnig bequemen Betten, dem wunderschönen Ensuite Badezimmer, hin zu dem großartigen Aussenbereich. Es war alles blitzsauber und man merkt wieviel Herzblut in dem Haus steckt. Rundum ein richter Wohlfühlort an den wir immer wieder zurückkehren würden.
