About this property

Cozy Narrowboat on Regents Canal

A newly resurrected narrowboat welcomes a unique London experience. She is stationed at the Regents Canal at Kings Cross so she is well connected with transport links and surrounded by loads of restaurants, pubs, and cultural happenings. It's a perfect place for a weekend retreat or romantic getaway.

We always make a great effort in making your stay as convenient and comfortable as possible. Please do consider boat life like
off-grid living/ glamping and it may not be for everyone.

The space
The entire vessel is well insulated and fitted with oak wood floors, a fully functioning kitchen with butcher block counters, and gas hob. The living space is fully furnished with a small television and a sofa bed.
There is wifi and 12V USB and car cigarette sockets to charge and power small devices throughout the vessel. The bathroom has a cassette toilet, sink, and a beautiful rain shower stall in the bathroom.
The bedroom is furnished with a Double size Ottoman bed where you can stow away your luggage. When the weather allows it, you can enjoy and lounge on the roof deck.

Currently, there is direct access to the boat from the towpath. This also means we have boats double moored beside us which has blocked the view to the canal.

Please bare in mind that though the boat looks like a flat, it still functions as a boat. Boat life requires some conscious effort to maintain modern home conveniences such as electricity, heat, and water.

For long stays, we freshen up the toilet cassette every 2-3 days
and top up the water tank.

FALL/ WINTER (September-April)

During these months (and sometimes beyond depending how sunny it is), we charge the boat daily for 45 min and usually do it when the guests are out and about since it can be noisy and disruptive.

Be mindful to turn off the lights when leaving or not in use.

*If you have any medical devices to charge such as a CPAP machine, please let us know in advance so we can set up the generator for you.

Boat runs ONLY on 12 VOLTS i.e USB sockets and car cigarette sockets to charge/ power small devices. Solar panels charge the batteries.

We would also appreciate if guests DO NOT WEAR HEELS on board as they mark the wooden floors.

Please be respectful and mindful to our boat neighbors as we are all moored beside each other.

No smoking inside the boat.

No candles

Please note there is a 2 night minimum stay for the New Year’s Eve Holiday.

Guest access
Guests are able to use the narrow boat in its entirety
