Great spot in calm area of London,easy access to tube line and a waitrose or tesco express. Kids enjoyed being in a place with a lot of visual curiosities. Host responsive and helpful in orienting ourselves. Thank you for having us.

PROS:Michael is a friendly host and was responsive when arranging logistics prior to arrival. He met us on time to facilitate check in and walked us through the apartment. Location is great in a quiet neighbourhood and about a 10 minute walk to Finchley Road and tube station with restaurants and groceries nearby. Michael was accommodating and understanding when we had to cut our stay short and refunded us for the nights we didn’t end up staying (see below). The unit is spacious with a separate bedroom and living room area. Internet was fast. CONS:Cleanliness: while this is ultimately subjective, the unit was in dire need of a deep cleaning. Because the apartment had art and knick knacks from the host’s travels around the world, it also attracted a lot of dust. My son’s dust allergies prevented him from sleeping which was why we had to leave after 3 nights. The washer was unusable because of mold and odours. Mattress: the bed in the bedroom was acceptable (mattress box spring, no frame) but the sofa bed in the living room was not adequate for sleeping for adults. There was no mattress just a thin foam (akin to packing foam, not memory foam) on top of wooden planks and was shaped oddly as it was comprised of 2 different pieces of foam. Needs to be replaced with a proper mattress. Shower: position of shower spray in bathtub made it very difficult to properly shower without the too short shower curtain sticking to your body. Hope this feedback helps

Great location and a quiet, funky little flat. Michael was extremely accommodating and helpful. Easy walk to 2 tube stations, grocery shopping, great restaurants and shopping. Good for our family of 5.
