Our very personally decorated, single-story 103 m² holiday home is located in Emsland, Lower Saxony, in the town of Twist, within a small holiday park, and can accommodate up to 6 people. It sits on a lush property with its own dock and a boat, right on the shores of a small moor lake. Our state-of-the-art, single-story holiday home features 2 well-equipped bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds and a desk), a spacious bathroom with a double sink and a washing machine and dryer, a separate guest bathroom, and a sauna for cold days. The windows in all sleeping areas can be fully darkened for a restful night’s sleep and are equipped with fly screens.

The open-concept kitchen is modern and furnished to a high standard, featuring brand-name appliances (dishwasher, large refrigerator-freezer, stove with oven and microwave, coffee maker). In the living room, two additional guests can sleep on the comfortable sofa bed.
You’ll find a selection of games and books in the living room. The infrared heating system quickly provides cosy warmth in each room. The floors are tiled throughout the house.

A cool, covered patio and a second sun terrace with a lake view invite you to relax. The patio door is threshold-free. The property is fenced in and open only towards the lake.
Here you can enjoy both peace and relaxation as well as a variety of activities such as horseback riding, biking, or excursions in the surrounding area.

The private dock on the lake, complete with a rowing boat, is perfect for a boat tour on the lake or some relaxing fishing. Fishing is free and suitable even for beginners, as no fishing licence is required. Swimming in the healthy moor water is also fun for young and old alike.

A Weber kettle grill is also available for your use at the house.
In front of the house, you’ll find 2 parking spaces, as well as a tie-up post for a horse or your bicycles starting in the spring.
A maximum of 1 dog is allowed for an additional fee.

The house meets current residential standards (triple-pane windows, thermal insulation in the roof and walls) and thus maintains a comfortable temperature in both summer and winter. Our house is a smoke-free home.

Activities
Our house is located on the grounds of Ponyhof Niers. Here you can go pony riding, take professional riding lessons, or even board your own horse during your stay. A petting zoo and a playground for the kids, as well as a farm café serving brunch on Sundays, round out the offerings.

A large indoor playground (Zappelarena), available for a fee, also ensures fun on the grounds no matter the weather. Here, you can also play billiards, table tennis, and football.

The surrounding area is great for biking and exploring the moorland. You’ll find informational materials about other destinations and activities available at the house.
Various shopping options and restaurants are located right in Twist and are easily accessible by car or bike.

Linens are included for all guests as part of the final cleaning. Towels can be booked on-site for €5; to help protect the environment, electricity and water are billed on-site based on actual usage.
