About this property

Secluded Maine Waterfront Cabin

If you are looking for a quiet getaway with over 170' of water frontage than look no further. The lake is 900 acres and flows to/from Thompson Brook, Madagascal Stream and the Passadumkeag River. Saponac Pond has a Maximum depth of 14' and is home to many fresh water fish; like small mouth bass and perch.

Ideal location for fishing, hiking, snowmobiling, hunting, kayaking, and more. There are many boating options included for our guests which include: 2 single kayaks and one double kayak, and a jonboat. If you are not an activity person there is still no better place than down by the water or in the screen porch or sunroom both overlooking the lake reading a book or just relaxing.

Sometimes Airbnb's software encourages minimum stay requirements ( 4 day stay) depending on the circumstances those in some cases can be reduced. just send me a message and I will let you know.

There is a small boat launch on main road.

Although We don't have specific dates to share regarding the dock, We try to have the dock out early in the year for our guests (End of May beginning of June-ish) and we will try to get it back in sometime in late September/ early October. Unfortunately I can't provide exact dates but of course the water and kayak's are still accessible without the dock. If you are not familiar with Maine roads and driveways although some are fine with front wheel drive vehicles, Either all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive is preferred and sometimes necessary during winter months.
