Quiet 5 star vacation house in Baden-Baden

This holiday house has two apartments. The house is separately situated on a large property at the end of a quiet valley, the Gunzenbachtal, only 2km from the center of the pitoresque town of Baden-Baden. From the house you have a beautiful view on the mountains of the Black Forest. It takes you only a few minutes to the nearby forest from where you can hike on numerous walks. On the other side you will be by car in less than 10 minutes in the centre of town.
Both apartments are120 m2 and have a roomy entrance room (wardrobe) and a large living room. There are three bedrooms. One single bedroom and two double bedrooms. The kitchen is complete equipped with microwave, dish-washer, electric stove and oven etc. The bathroom has a bath and shower. In the basement you find a washing machine and drier. It exists satellite TV and stereo with CD- and DVD-player. Free internet (wireless) is available.

Parking is possible directly at the house.

Suitable for handicapped people: The apartment on the base floor is also suitable for handicapped people. A private way enables you to drive by car in front of the terrace from where you can enter the house without steps and sills.

Pats/Dogs: Dogs or other pats are possibly welcome if agreed. The supplementary charge is € 4,-- per animal and night.

5 star rating: The house is officially rated with the maximum of 5 stars, German Tourism Association (DTV).

Fantastic location

A well located house on the outskirts of Baden Baden. This house allowed us (8 adults) to walk in to the centre in 20mins. The facilities were good and made breakfast easy, with the sleeping arrangementssuiting us perfectly. A clean and tidy house and very good value for what you get (and for what you are close to).

Great place!

We had a great stay at this vrbo! It was clean and had all the amenities we could need. The location was beautiful and the privacy exactly what we wanted. The only thing we would have liked is if the wifi reached further in the house. It is also a relatively long walk to the town but it worked for us. Thanks for everything!

Nice home in Baden Baden. Well equipped, furnishings a bit dated but more than adequate. For our family group of 9 we had both upstairs and downstairs units, which connect inside via common foyer. Some bedrooms a bit tight,but it worked.

Es war alles gut .Vielen lieben Dank an die Gastgeber. Sie sind sehr freundlich Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Wir waren 10 Personen 6 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder.Die Wohnung ober ist sehr schön Sehr gut ausgestattet Die Küche hat alles was man braucht. Das Wohnzimmer ist groß, mit einer großen Essecke, 3 Schlafzimmer. Das war unser Zentralpunkt. Unten gibt es auch 3 Schlafzimmer. Die Küche ist klein aber auch o.k.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig, nahe am Wald, sehr schön um zu wandern.

Sehr schönes Ambiente

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und die Unterbringung entsprach unseren Vorstellungen. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern erfolgte rasch und sehr zufriedenstellend. Wir waren mit der Gesamtfamilie dort, auch mit Kleinkindern und zwei kleineren Hunden. Herzlichen Dank dafür.

Nettes Haus für viele Leute

Wir waren zu 11t da und haben uns im recht modernen Obergeschoss sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Untergeschoss versprüht einen gepflegten 80er Jahre Charme. Muss man mögen. Ist aber für ein Wochenende völlig in Ordnung. Beide Wohnungen voll ausgestattet. Grill- und Terassennutzung waren problemlos möglich, allerdings war die "Verpackung" der Terassenmöbel nicht sonderlich einladend. Ansonsten war Kommunikation und Checkin etc immer alles super nett und problemlos.

Ruhiger Rückzugsort

Wir hatten mit 9 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern unter 12 Jahren gerade so genug Platz zum Schlafen. Für 10 Personen gibt es Betten. 3 Kindern schliefen auf Bodenbetten, was extra berechnet wird. Das könnte in der Beschreibung präzisiert werden. Beide Wohnungen haben geräumige Wohnbereiche. Gerade bei 3 Tagen Dauerregen war das ein Segen. Zum Essen mussten wir alle nach oben. Dort ist auch die Küche schön groß, während die untere Wohnung eine recht enge Küche hat, die wir daher nicht nutzten. Das Einchecken klappte problemlos. Zwischenzeitlich schaute auch mal jemand vorbei. (Die Vermieter sind nicht vor Ort.) Die von den Vermietern gesandten Informationen (und die Hausordnung) sind detailliert. Vor Ort gibt es zusätzlich eine umfassende Informationsmappe in jeder Wohnung. Die Stadt Baden-Baden schlägt noch einmal mit 3,80 Euro Kurtaxe pro Erwachsenem und Übernachtung zu. Wie schon von anderen Gästen bemerkt ist die untere Wohnung etwas altertümlich eingerichtet, die obere aber modern und hell. Insgesamt ein gelungenes Familienwochenende!

Rundum prima!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, hatten natürlich für die Kleinen selbst Spielzeug mitgebracht, allein wegen der kalten Jahreszeit mit wenig Möglichkeit, mit 4Kleinkindern lange das Haus zu verlassen. Wir haben selten ein so gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus erlebt. Vielen Dank dafür.
