Summary:

The Polynesian Resort Condominiums is a shared complex of 69 condos. Prior to 2026, the location operated as the Polynesian Resort Hotel, but it transitioned to being individually rented vacation condos as of April 1st, 2026. Even though all condos are in the Polynesian Rentals program, they are each a unique property with a different owner and listing.



The Space:

Come relax in this spacious family suite known as "Sunsets & Surf". Located on the second floor, this unit is arranged to accommodate up to six guests, with two queen beds and a sleeper sofa.



The condo has a full kitchen with a fridge, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a dining room table where you can sit and eat comfortably. Step outside on the patio and soak in the fresh ocean air, or if it's chilly outside, stay warm inside by the fireplace watching your favorite shows and movies. The unit has a full private bathroom with a shower, tub, hair dryer, and toiletries.



Plus, pets are welcome in this unit, so you don’t have to leave them behind! A standard pet fee applies, with a maximum of two pets allowed.



As a guest of Polynesian Rentals, you'll get access to the communal pool room with heated pool and hot tub, the Game Room on the 2nd floor with a rentable pool table and real arcade games, and an outdoor recreation area with a swing set, horse shoe pits, tetherball pole, and a picnic area with BBQs. The Polynesian Resort is also within easy walking and driving distance of our favorite Ocean Shores' breakfast, Our Place, and the beach!

Interaction with Guests:

We leave you free to enjoy your stay! It is self check-in and checkout. However, the front desk is staffed by our team from 10 AM to 7 PM daily and we employe some on-site maintenance and housekeeping during the day – please don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything. For urgent concerns after 7 PM, we employ an after hours phone service. They are trained to help with common questions and can contact staff if in-person assistance is needed. We do our best to make sure you have the freedom to enjoy the space on your own, but we have support available if you need it.

We really enjoyed this room for a family of 5. It has a short drive to the beach (about 2 minutes). My kids thought the pool and game room were so fun!

The communication was great and the location was perfect. The pool, hot tub, game room was a blast for my kid. The kitchen amenities was lacking which is one of the main reasons we opt for vrbo versus hotels. The couch is extremely old and I questioned the cleanliness so I covered it with a sheet. The wifi didn’t work 70% which is okay since that was an expectation prior to checking in. The unit had an odor that was subtly present but perhaps from the old property- however it didn’t feel clean because of that. The shower water pressure was nearly nonexistent- the shower head basically trickled water making it challenging to shower. Outside in the property there are stakes in the ground that make a buzzing sound.. not sure what it is but it is disturbing at night and it kept us up since our windows were kept open from no AC. A little disappointed with our overall stay from poor condition of the condo but our family was grateful to be on vacation and made the most of it.

The condo is spacious and close enough to everything. It is old, but functional. Beach trails is awesome and the pool is a plus. Checking in was a breeze and no issues over all.
