Holiday home completed in 2021 on our Straussenhof property. Amenities: 55 square metres of living space, including a loft; accommodates up to 4 people. Parking space, storage for e-bikes and bicycles, private garden area, modern kitchen, living-dining area with access to a covered terrace, flat-screen TV (swivel-mounted for both living and sleeping areas), pellet stove, rain shower, hair dryer—finally, holiday! Our holiday home will be ready for rental upon completion in 2021. Look forward to a wonderful stay in the contemporary Hohensayn holiday home on our Straussenhof. This modern holiday home offers space for up to 4 people in approximately 55 square metres of living space, including a loft. Wind down the evening on your covered terrace. A parking space is, of course, available, and you can safely store e-bikes and bicycles on our property. During the summer months, our farm café is open on nice weekends for hikers and cyclists. During opening hours, additional guests will be visiting our farm. The holiday home features a private garden area. On the ground floor, you’ll find a modern kitchen equipped with an oven, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, and electric kettle, among other amenities. The living-dining area is equipped with a dining set, a sofa, a flat-screen TV—which can be swiveled to face either the living or sleeping area—and a pellet stove. In the sleeping area on the ground floor, you’ll find a double bed (160x200 cm). The bathroom on the ground floor is equipped with a rain shower, a hair dryer, and a toilet. On the upper floor/loft, our holiday rental features an additional bedroom with two single beds (maximum ceiling height 175 cm). Unfortunately, pets are not allowed. You’re welcome to book a laundry package for 7 euros per person. We wish you a pleasant stay in our tastefully decorated holiday home. Very quiet location on our Straussenhof farm, about 1 km from the nearest main road (the Hohensayn district is located in the middle of the forest and consists of two small farms). Bicycle routes and hiking trails pass by the property (signposted bike routes). Approx. 1.5 km to the spa town of Bad Marienberg (tree-top adventure park, zoo, revolving restaurant, water park, sauna; in winter, downhill and cross-country skiing). Approx. 10 km to Hachenburg (historic old town, regional museum, cinema, water park). Nearby attractions: Westerwald Lake District, golf, Fuchskaute (highest peak in the Westerwald).
