Gemütliche Auszeit in der Eifel

Turning old into new.
We bought the house in December 2022 and completed the interior renovation in April 2023.
Enjoy your holiday on the edge of the Eifel National Park in the beautiful Eifel village of Vussem.
In our lovingly furnished holiday rental, follow in the footsteps of the Romans—a Roman aqueduct and the Roman Canal Hiking Trail are right on site, inviting you to explore.
The holiday rental accommodates 4 people. The 80 square metres of living space are divided into 2 bedrooms, 1 kitchen, 1 bathroom, and 1 living room.
A large, partially covered terrace invites you to relax. The adjoining garden is private.
The nearest larger town is Mechernich, about 4 kilometres away. There are various shopping options there, such as bakeries, butchers, and several supermarkets. Doctors, pharmacies, and the district hospital are also located in Mechernich.
There is a public car park on our street.
The Kakushöhle cave in Mechernich-Dreimühlen is always worth a visit and is about 3 km from us.
The Katzensteine, which are well worth seeing, are about 4 km away.
In Mechernich-Kommern, there is a summer toboggan run, an open-air museum, and a big-game wildlife park, all about 5 km from us.
The Eifel National Park and the accessible nature experience area Wilder Kermeter are about 25 km away.
Phantasialand (amusement park) in Brühl is also just a quick 35 km away.
Cologne is about 50 minutes away (62 km) from us.
The Three-Country Corner in Luxembourg is about 82 km away and is always worth a visit for hiking.
All of the Eifelschleifen and Eifelspuren trails can be explored either on foot or by car.

Clean and well equipped

The accommodation was very spacious, clean and had everything required. The only thing missing was a washing machine. The location was great if you have a car. We were pleased with our stay.

Schöne, grosse Ferienwohnung

Schöne Ferienwohnung für bis zu 4 Personen. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist sehr gut. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Es gibt viele schöne Wanderwege und Städtchen in der Umgebung und auch Köln und Bonn sind nicht weit weg. Ideal für einen Kurzurlaub.

Leider zu kurz

Ich war das erste Mal in der Eifel... Die Landschaften und die Möglichkeiten zu erkunden sind so vielfältig, dass man unbedingt nochmal wiederkommt.... Die Unterkunft wunderschön.... Viel Platz und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet.... Optimal auch mit dem Hund.... Kommen gerne wieder
