Renovated with lots of love and passion!<br><br>This unique holiday home, built in 1930, sleeps up to 6 people (max. 4 adults) and one dog, and is located in the small village of Upleward in the beautiful Krummhörn region.<br><br>As soon as you step inside, the wooden beam ceiling and the beautiful hardwood floors immediately convey the historic charm of this home. The living room features three comfortable sofas facing the large TV and the pellet stove, which provides cosy warmth in the winter. The dining room, which features an extendable dining table, has a second TV, as well as a desk and a pull-out sofa bed for 1–2 people in a separate area. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances: refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, oven, ceramic cooktop, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, and much more. <br>Both bathrooms are also located on the ground floor: One bathroom features a toilet, sink, hair dryer, shower, bathtub, and bio-sauna; in the second bathroom, you’ll find a sink, shower, urinal, and washer-dryer. The house also offers many other practical amenities for your holiday, such as a shoe-shining machine.<br><br>A steep staircase leads to the upper floor, where you’ll find the two bedrooms and a guest bathroom (cold water only). One bedroom has a double bed; the other bedroom has two single beds, a wardrobe, and children’s toys. This room also includes a changing table. A stair gate is provided for child safety.<br><br>The large garden, which has been completely fenced in since May 2026 and features attractive garden lighting, is ideal for dogs and children to run around and play; there is also a sandpit for the children. The terrace is furnished, and a swivel grill and a fire pit are provided.<br><br>Bicycles can be stored safely in the storage shed, where four bicycles, a balance bike for toddlers, a children’s bike with training wheels, and two toddler bikes are available free of charge (subject to availability and without liability on our part). Two parking spaces are included with the house.<br><br>Free Wi-Fi is available (we do not guarantee unrestricted availability or sufficient speed).<br><br>Dogs are also welcome upon prior notification! Smoking is not permitted inside the house.<br><br>In Upleward, you’ll find the dry beach right along the dike, featuring a large playground; you can also take long walks here. <br><br>This property is rented during the Easter and fall breaks for stays of five nights or more, with no fixed check-in day.<br><br>The picturesque town of Greetsiel is only about 13 km away, where you can explore and marvel at the numerous sights (e.g., the fishing boat harbour, the twin windmills). But you can also reach Emden—with its many attractions and shopping opportunities—relatively quickly in the other direction. Just outside Emden, on the Ems River, lies Knock, where you’ll also find a large dog-friendly beach perfect for long walks with your four-legged friend.<br><br>You’re welcome to add a laundry package as an optional extra. This can be done during the booking process or at any time afterwards for a fee.
