The Space:

The Bond House - Double Oh Sexy!

Need to unwind after a tough mission? The Bond House is a study in California Modernism at its most confident. A 1973 New Century home meticulously updated without losing an ounce of its architectural integrity. This is the architecture that taught a generation what desert glamour looked like: crisp forms, modern materials, long framed views, and drama that comes from the building rather than the decor. Black glossy floors mirror the pool at dusk. Clerestory windows in the great room pull light from angles you don't expect. Walls of glass surround you; blurring the lines between inside and out.

The light-soaked great room looks over the beautifully landscaped entry courtyard on one side and the spa-like backyard on the other with a full view of the shimmering pool. A large U-shaped couch, gas fireplace and surround sound system create an inviting spot to entertain a group or just enjoy yourself. The large kitchen has everything a professional chef could want or need. The dining area has a Sputnik chandelier perched over a black marble table. These rooms are built for relaxing days and swanky evenings - the martini is practically obligatory (shaken - of course)!

Awake to panoramic mountain views in the massive primary suite’s king size canopy bed overlooking an original Florence Knoll sofa in the sitting area and sliders opening straight onto the pool. Within the suite there is also a library nook with desk and an en-suite bath featuring a zen soaking tub. A separate guest suite includes two bedrooms with king sized beds, and a Jack & Jill bathroom. Additionally the suite includes a second half bath. All three bedrooms open to patios of their own, each a few steps from the outdoor spa shower with a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and endless sky at night.

Out back, the pool runs 37 feet, long enough to actually swim rather than stand in, with an oversized spa and a fire pit for when the desert cools off. The misters and exterior lighting answer to Alexa. Multiple lounging options allow you to find the perfect spot to fit your mood.

With subtle nods to the Bond franchise, the home has been updated with all the latest high-tech gadgets any agent could want. The living room has a Bose surround sound system and 65” Frame TV. The home is also equipped with Sonos, smart televisions in every bedroom, high-speed internet, Eero Mesh, Amazon Alexa, remote controls for pool, spa & blinds - even a Tesla charger in the two car garage.
