Hike around the active volcano of Kīlauea during the day, and spend your evenings relaxing on the lanai, grilling your favorite Hawaiian family dinners, and sharing stories of your adventures around the gas-powered fireplace!



This home is located in Volcano Village, just a few minutes from great restaurants like 'Ōhelo Cafe and The Rim. You'll be only three miles east of the Kīlauea Visitor Center and adjacent to the northern boundaries of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The Akatsuka Orchid Gardens are five miles east, the Volcano Winery is six miles west, and a unique golfing adventure awaits you at the Volcano Golf and Country Club, where you can tee off at one of the world's most active volcanoes, five miles west.

This is a nice home, very clean, includes a dishwasher, washer and dryer. The description is accurate. About a 10-15 minute drive to Volcano National Park. Home is located in a forest area. The home does not have window coverings in any of the rooms so the light does come in very early. The water is not drinkable. There was a large unopened bottle of water in the refrigerator for use. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans and dishes for cooking. A breakfast starter as we have had in other Vrbo's would have been nice. Overall nice place, very clean.

Very nice stay for our staycation in Volcano. We had family visiting and needed a place that could hold all of us. We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious it was, and the kitchen is fully stocked. It was much nicer than the ad suggested.

Perfect for groups

Great home in Volcano

This is a fabulous, extremely well stocked private home within 15 minutes of volcano national park. The home was just as described in the listening with large bedrooms, a gorgeous open central floor plan and everything you need in the kitchen. We stayed here with our family of four, loved it and would stay again

Our Volcano home, Hale Pau’ole, was charming and beautiful, I loved sitting on the lanai in the mornings, having a cup of java, and taking in the peaceful surroundings. The hale was fully decked out with amenities - we felt like we were at home.

Beautiful house very clean and nicely appointed kitchen as well. Beautiful property for a nice family vacation. Only minor complaint was the fire place control was not operating properly. But all in all a nice place!
