This beachfront, one-bedroom condo sleeps up to four across two beds, with one bath, a kitchen, air conditioning, and an in-home washer and dryer. The shared pool and hot tub give the group an easy backup when the ocean gets too energetic or the kids want one more swim. Head north to Maalaea Harbor for a boat outing or south to Kihei for a meal and Kamaole Beach Park III. It is a steady, family-friendly place to come home to with beach gear in hand and no need to rush the evening.



The Space:

This one-bedroom condo has two beds and one bath for up to four guests. The air-conditioned interior includes a kitchen for easy meals and an in-home washer and dryer for the clothing and towels that come with repeat beach days. It offers a simple place for the family to reset between the pool, the sand, and a drive along the coast.

Guests at Sugar Beach Resort enjoy access to the shared communal pool, hot tub, and BBQ grills right along the shore in Kihei. Sugar Beach lies between North Kihei and Maalaea, giving families several easy directions for an outing. Walk the beachfront, visit Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge for open wetland views, or use Maalaea Harbor for ocean activities and the Maui Ocean Center. South Kihei brings more cafés and the active beach-park scene at Kamaole Beach Park III. The benefit of this location is having a calmer shoreline at home and familiar South Maui stops within easy reach.



Getting Around:

Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.

Fabulous Stay

Great amenities including beach chairs, umbrella, boogie board, games and even a pair of binoculars to whale watch. Bed was great and views were spectacular. Close location to snorkle beaches including right in front of the unit. Easy to fall asleep listening to the ocean waves

Nice and convenient location. 15-20 mins from airport. Maybe very good places to eat in nearby downtown Kihei. Beach access easy and sunset visible from Balcony. We would rent again.

Quiet room, clean, and what a view! Enjoyed hearing the waves all day and watching the sunset from the balcony. Nice facility, as well. Doesn't look like much when you drive in, but friendly staff, nice pool, grills, and easy beach access.

Perfect location and wonderful condo!

We loved everything about this condo and location! The check-in process was very easy - great, friendly staff. The condo was very clean, bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed, , and even a cooler, beach chairs and boogie boards! Beachfront views were amazing as we watched rowers in the morning and evenings and sunsets were breathtaking. Literally steps from the beach and pool, my son had a blast. We will definitely come again!

Wonderful Condo. Loved ocean view.My only reservation was that the tub/shower could be difficult to get into and out. Grab bars were installed. I would wonder if a large person could get in.

Perfect for us

This condo is a front row seat to sandy very walkable beach. The condo had everything we wanted. King size firm mattress, air conditioning, balcony on the 3rd floor for great views and an elevator . Updated appliances including washer and dryer. We were here in June so not overly busy. Nice pool and hot tub. Sand Witch served great sandwiches and has a homey local feel. Also had a good massage. We would certainly stay here again.

The condo has a beautiful view of Maalea Bay and has direct access to a wonderful beach with kid-friendly water. The kitchen/living area is well-designed. The king bedroom is roomy and the bed is comfortable. The shower access is a bit cramped with shower doors that don’t move easily and leave only a small opening to get in/out of the tub/shower. The towels were lovely and the washer/dryer combo was a great convenience. I would rent this place again.

Condo is a bit dated but everything is functional. Someone had written “Wash Me” on the outside of the bedroom window, but the unit was mostly clean. There is a cooler, beach chairs and boogie board on the lanai that came in handy at the beach. The view is fantastic. The small bag of snacks and coffee on arrival was a nice touch. Pool and hot tub were clean. Other guests were nice.

Great View

Good condo. Somewhat dated but it functioned well. The interior will not wow you, but it works. Beds are tired and the furnishings are somewhat dated. Pool/BBQ area is maintained well. Good location in a quiet stretch of beach.
