We stayed at the property for a four man golf weekend. The location was great for some wonderful courses and we were all quite comfortable around the house and the fire pit. I will stay here again.

The front of the house outside was really over grown with weeds and things. Only one bathroom on the bottom floor. The kitchen, tv, couch and sitting area is on the top floor. So you have to climb the stairs every time you needed to use the bathroom. I had my mother with me and she is elderly and it was hard on her.

This is a Chalet in the woods in Northern Michigan. It is next to impossible to eliminate all the weeds. We like the natural look and ambiance of that. It also has stairs going inside and stairs to the 2nd level. The bathroom is on the first level with all of the bedrooms. Upstairs is the kitchen and living room. I would not recommend bringing an elderly person here or anyone that has difficulty with stairs. I am sorry that she did not realize this prior to booking but I think the pictures are pretty accurate. It is a cool old school Chalet in the woods with a great ambiance.
