The home was emaculate. Extremely clean. It was so easy to reach the host when I had questions. The location was perfect. Very family friendly and pet friendly. Driveway is very steep so make sure you plan for that if it snows. Can't say enough good things about the property. Also it needs a broom lol. I love keeping everything clean and swept up.

Quick response by host for a few questions. Living room furniture is comfortable. Beds comfortable, except for the pillows.. they were awful, bring your own if you can! Like the other reviews, beware the driveway is very steep, narrow and curves. When you get to the top, you cannot see where you are going for a few seconds, same going back down. Our family enjoyed our stay.

Host was an excellent communicator! Got questions answered in a timely fashion. Pics were accurate and the location is excellent. Some suggestions for future reference - 1 The driveway is very steep and requires an AWD vehicle or at least a FWD Suv ; we had an FWD Equinox and the climb was concerning. 2 Since the top portion of the driveway is loose gravel; which, had been scattered by other arrivals caused our wheels to lose grip and act like ice. After unloading I opened your utility shed and raked the driveway and removed the leaves and gravel. The upper portion of the drive should be extended another 7 feet with either black top or cement to insure a sure footing. A prius would not be able to make the climb as my daughter can attest. She tried but no luck. Or, as an alternative have it swept clear of rocks and leaves the day when guests arrive. Also, your gutters are full of debris and the deck was not cleaned off which causes dirt to be tracked into the house. I wore socks as slippers around the house and they were dark on the bottoms. At least a blower should be used and possibly a hose down of the deck. 3 there were no dishwasher pods and only two pods for the laundry room. 4 The rule to not allow shoes seems unrealistic. Many folks are uncomfortable w/o shoes.

Thanks so much for your thoughtful feedback and for taking the time to share your experience at our cabin. FYI, our teams blew the driveway a couple of hours before your arrival, but it’s October in the mountains. Leaves are falling at an alarming rate. No way to keep the driveway clear this time of the year. Once the fall passes, we move on to winter and its challenges in the mountains. Perhaps your expectations for the mountains don’t align with city life…and that’s okay. We like it, and hope the next guests can appreciate the way we live.
