Spanning 55 m², the lodge offers two bedrooms, a generous open-plan living area and its own private wellness setup with a Hottub and sauna just outside the door. Inside, the electric feature fireplace gives the living room a warm, unhurried feel, the kind of place where an evening naturally stretches out longer than planned. The furnished terrace with garden furniture is where you will want to start your mornings and end your evenings.

The fully equipped kitchen includes an induction hob, dishwasher, combination microwave and fridge-freezer, so preparing a relaxed dinner at home is just as easy as dining out. The two bedrooms are fitted with comfortable box spring beds: one room with two single beds placed together, the other with a single bed and a bunk bed. Air conditioning keeps the lodge comfortable throughout the year, and insect screens mean you can sleep with the windows open on warmer nights. Free WiFi and a Smart TV with streaming functionality are available for quieter moments indoors.

Park Berkenrhode: where the forest starts at your doorstepPark Berkenrhode is a small-scale, premium holiday park right on the edge of the Veluwe woodlands. The park has been deliberately kept intimate, with a limited number of accommodations so it never feels crowded or impersonal. Walking and cycling routes begin practically at your lodge, and bikes are available to hire on the park itself. Prefer to explore a little further? E-choppers and electric scooters are also available. After a day outdoors, Brasserie Luwe is the place to be: a relaxed, welcoming brasserie on the park for lunch, drinks or dinner. A breakfast and bread roll service, sharing boards and a laundry facility are also available. Dogs are warmly welcome, and there is even a Dog Wash on site.

Veluwe: forests, heathlands and open skiesThe Veluwe is one of the most beautiful natural areas in the Netherlands, and from Park Berkenrhode you are right in the middle of it. Dense forests give way to open heathlands and sandy drifts, with each season bringing its own atmosphere. Autumn turns the landscape warm and golden, spring fills the air with the scent of moss and fresh foliage. There is no need to get in the car to experience any of it. Trails for walking and cycling leave from the park, making it easy to spend a morning, an afternoon or an entire day outside without any planning at all.
