You do not have to post these comments and they are meant for input to make others stay a good visit. The facility was comfortable and pretty. Nothing mentioned it was not a house but that it was a small duplex. The refrigerator would randomly make a singing noise. We did not do cooking meals in the facility. One morning I found a pan and heated water to make some tea. The smoke alarm went off due to the dirty drip pan. They need to be replaced or cleaned. We cleaned on one to accomplish our goal and not set off the alarm again.

This is interesting and quite surprising to hear as I personally inspected the property and took pictures before guest check-in. The home is clearly listed as 2 beds and 1 bath, it's 860 square feet, and being a duplex has never been an issue since it's only connected by the garages. For the 2 guests that were booked I'm sure it would have been perfect. However, since the guest hosted an unauthorized party with over 14 additional, unapproved guests, it makes sense that this 2 bedroom home did not fit their needs. After multiple attempts from vrbo and the host to contact (after being notified by a neighbor about the party), the guest promised to have the unauthorized persons vacate within 30 minutes, but made no effort to do so until 3 hours later. Guest stated they were "just having a potluck". In future, it is best practise to review all property details and house rules prior to booking. We pride ourselves on providing a comfortable, safe, and quiet retreat for both our guests and neighbors.
