The location is perfect for your exploration in the region. Visit the Cité de la Mer museum, the beaches of Cotentin and the historic sites of the Allied landings, such as Saint-Mère-Eglise, the Cherbourg roadstead and Utah Beach. Closer is Ile Tatihou, accessible on foot at certain times during low tide, and Fort Vauban. Also visit Granville, with its casino, the Dior Museum, and its modern art museum. You can go hiking on the customs trail. You can also take it easy and walk the few hundred meters to the sea and swim in the sea.
