The Casa Bomberto is a romantic, cozy cottage in absolute solitude located in southern Tuscany.
The house is surrounded by a deciduous forest Maremma, which was developed in the 60s by the so-called. German Toscana Group for a life in the South.
The few neighbors are so far away from our property that you see, nor hear so that in total privacy to spend your vacation there.
You can reach the property via a gravelled natural road that leads directly from Caldana about 2.7km through the forest to our house.
We have the casa lovingly renovated during the last years and newly furnished. It offers 2-4 holidaymakers enough space. Of course, we dog & Co. are always welcome!
You have 2 spacious bedrooms, a small living room with a new large flat screen TV (Smart TV), DVD, and a stereo (BOSE) available.
Since 2017, we can provide our guests with an internet connection with 24h flat rate via a satellite system.
For relaxation, a small library with sophisticated books, many films for every taste, toys for our little guests contributes.
The house has a shower room with bidet / WC.
Domestic water supply takes place via a 61m deep drinking water well drilled in 2018.
The large kitchen is equipped with all comforts.
Cooking is done on a 5-flame gas field and a new brand oven, makes every dish succeed.
Beautiful dishes and matching glasses, coffee and tea service and many other cooking utensils are obligatory. Our extensive cookbook collection stimulates the appetite and makes you want to prepare typical local specialties.
The Casa Bomberto stands in the middle of a 2,4ha natural plot with olive trees and cork oaks.
Directly at the house we have created a large garden with many cozy corners on several levels.
A large covered terrace with bequehmen seating during the warmer months for additional living space.
An open patio in the west of the house with a view of the rose and herb garden is equipped with high quality teak garden furniture, especially pleasant to spend long, warm summer evenings under the stars.
From there you can see on the horizon the 12th Etruscan town Vetulonia.
For private sunbathing are in the southeast of the house a further porch. There you lie, not visible from the street, in comfortable Deckchairs and enjoy the warming sun of the south. There are also the garden furniture for smaller children.
This place is also used as an open-air kitchen.

Excursions:

Whatever the season, the house is an ideal starting point for excursions. The magnificent blossoms spring, the pleasant summer for swimming, the warm, aromatic autumn. It is right in the heart of Tuscany. The connection to highways (A1, SS1, S223), many interesting places can be easily reached.
Siena 100 km - Florence 160 km. If you visit Siena, S. Gimignano & Volterra are not far away.
Rome, which is just 240km, can in a day by car o. Web are traveling.
A trip to Montalcino, the wine region of Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino and Montepulciano will always be remembered for wine lovers!
But even a ride on the 'strada del vino', Massa Marittima, stopping at the small wineries to taste the local wines is beautiful.

Grosseto is the district capital of the region and is about 40 km away. The town boasts a beautiful city with the cathedral, the old, well-preserved city walls and the long pedestrian precinct with many shops and restaurants.

Swimming:

The coast around Castiglione della Pescaia - Tyrrhenian sea - bright, clean sand with miles of pine forests and Punt`Ala are among the most beautiful in Tuscany thanks to the vastness of their beaches and picturesque bays, and are relatively quiet even during the main season certainly.
Castiglione can be reached in about 40 minutes. At these free beaches dogs are allowed. The beach there is especially suitable for families with young children. The sea has barely surf and is only knee-deep for many meters.
