The beautiful, new, and bright holiday rental “Dorothee 1” is located on the ground floor of a seaside resort-style villa in Nienhagen.
The holiday rental is very modern and equipped to a high standard, featuring two bedrooms—one with a double bed and the other with a roll-away bed (i.e., two single beds). The living area is equipped with all the latest electronics, including an LED flat-screen TV and satellite TV. Several books, games, and CDs are available. Integrated into the living room is the modern built-in kitchen as well as the dining area with four chairs. The kitchen is comfortably equipped with a dishwasher and a filter coffee maker. For younger guests, a high chair, a travel cot, and a beach shelter in the garden are available. The bathroom has a shower.
The holiday rental is ideally located between the beautiful towns of Warnemünde and Kühlungsborn. A small corner store is just a 2-minute walk away. On the beach, there’s a small bistro/restaurant as well as an ice cream lorry serving homemade ice cream. The surroundings are wonderful: in Nienhagen, heading towards Kühlungsborn, you’ll find the so-called “Ghost Forest.” It’s both beautiful and quaint. A bike path right along the coast allows you to cycle to Warnemünde and Kühlungsborn/Rerik.

Bed linens & towels are not included but can be booked for an additional fee. Enjoy the close proximity to the beach and the mystical “Gespensterwald”—a paradise for walks, photography, and romantic sunsets. Rostock, Warnemünde, and the charming spa town of Bad Doberan—with its cathedral, summer toboggan run, and spa museum—offer a variety of day trip destinations in the surrounding area.
The 3-km-long natural beach at Nienhagen and the picturesque cliffs are just a few minutes’ walk away. This Baltic Sea resort has been awarded the “Blue Flag” multiple times for its excellent water quality.

From Berlin: A19 → Rostock interchange → A20 towards Lübeck → Exit 13 Bad Doberan/Schwaan → Bad Doberan → Warnemünde → Rethwisch → Ostseebad Nienhagen.


From Hamburg: A1 → A20 towards Rostock → Exit 13 Bad Doberan/Schwaan → Bad Doberan → Warnemünde → Rethwisch → Ostseebad Nienhagen.
