The holiday rental is located on the ground floor of our house. The living and dining area is open-concept and can accommodate up to nine people. The balcony is accessible from the dining room. The holiday rental has three bedrooms: one double bedroom, one double bedroom with a sleeper sofa for up to 3 people, and one double bedroom that can accommodate up to 4 people thanks to a sleeper sofa and an extra bed. Each of the three bedrooms has its own bathroom equipped with a shower, toilet, towels, and a hair dryer. The dining room cabinet contains board games, children’s and baby toys, as well as books. All rooms have radiators as well as roller shutters or blackout blinds, and at least one window per room has a permanently installed fly screen. In the hallway of the holiday rental, there is a relatively steep staircase leading to the attic (which can be secured with a baby safety gate), where the pool table and foosball table are located. The garden is large and offers plenty of space for relaxing, barbecuing, playing, and unwinding. The garden shed with a covered patio is for your exclusive use. Inside the garden shed, you’ll find a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a table with two benches, and a children’s seating area. There is also plenty of seating in front of the garden shed.
The house is quietly located at the end of the street. A supermarket is 650 metres away, as are a butcher shop and a bakery. Restaurants in the town centre are just one kilometre away.
The Vulkanradweg bike trail is 10 metres from the house.
The Hoherodskopf, featuring a climbing forest, hiking trails, a summer toboggan run, and cross-country ski trails in winter, is always worth a visit. The castle with its Baroque park in the Stockhausen district, Eisenbach Castle—known as the “Wartburg of Upper Hesse”—and the Nieder Mooser Lakes are all located around Herbstein.
